Random Thoughts.....

have you ever when you see a flock of geese flying in a V, one side is always longer than the other?

it turns out that's because there are more geese on that side.

Why is it so damn hard to find a 7.5 V8 or 6.8 V10 truck, crew cab, in decent shape, for a reasonable price, within a reasonable distance? Sure I've seen a couple in Kentucky or Tennessee, but I can't drive 6 hours just to see if your lying or not.

And who the hell decided that 300k mile trucks were worth $6-10k? If you have paper work for engine and/or transmission rebuild/replacement, I can understand wanting a higher price. Seriously, even a 300k mile 7.3, with an automatic trans isn't worth that, unless it's had transmission work done.

The inflated new truck price made that choice for you. If I had my old 97 non turbo 7.3 I bet I could damn near get half or more then I paid for it. The new truck cost damn near 3 Times what I paid for it new.......then add all the money thrown at stretching a payment out enough for a common man to afford it..........6 to 10k don't sound so stupid anymore.

The same moron who decided a 5 yr old truck with over 100k is worth $30,000.

Does not compute to this old fool. I guess I'm just getting old, grumpy, and out of touch with reality.

when new ones cost $85k then you will pay more for a used one...

Yep, but I don't see $85k worth sitting it front of me when I look at a new truck. Not a chance I'm paying $85k for a new one either since I'm too cheap to pay $30k for a 5 yr old one. I'll just keep driving my 01 Ram with 235k on the clock. Radio quit working months ago, and the dash bezel broke apart and fell to pieces years ago. Doesn't matter, still runs and drives.

At first I was like...aww doggos. Then I was like, yeah, people should be more like labs. Then I started to think about dogs and pack behavior if one falls out of line in the hierarchy. Is this suggesting if someone falls out of line, I should pin them to the ground by their throat? Honestly, I’d be all for that.

They also eat each others feces.

You act like people aren’t out there voluntarily eating from the tap already...
Pluses and minuses. Dogs can also "self service".
