Just found out that John Ross died April 15th.

If you own a gun and distrust the government and have never read his book "Unintended Consequences"....

HOW DARE YOU?

This book was FAR more influential on my growth and development as an American that the Great Gatsby or the Scarlet Letter or any other forced 'literary' junk in school.

LOL. Guy has an explanation for everything
Right?
Can't drive a manual
Doesn't have a tag
Doesn't have a license
Doesn't have insurance
Was downshifting
Wait, no was upshifting
It was wet
There was mud

Did he even own the car?
Was he even there?

Why are college graduates today so out of touch with reality? I knew about what I was going to make when I graduated.

I wonder if these really are averages, or are based on medians. In the CS field for instance it can be really skewed by the right-coast tech industry.

Also - the mid-level career mean salary is now $132k? I'm assuming thats across all degrees and disciplines, but that's mind blowing. Fed salaries have definitely not caught up.
But again I'm guessing that is inflated by the top end.

This even goes back to 2009. My 2 best friends ended up going to App and when they were getting ready to graduate, they both were claiming they were going to be making 80k-100k a year right out of college.... over 10 years later and neither one of them is even close. Not to mention the amount of student debt they have.

rediculous.
A little more info
