Chasing a dream

Ten4. I'm still waiting on the "I got stuck because the truck and camper were too long and ended up having to rip off half of the side of the camper to get loose" post. :D

I see you taken the positive and encouraging road like @CasterTroy :flipoff2:

I’m just kidding. I bought a buggy last week. It’s being delivered this week.
Delivered?
You're homeless, have an empty trailer, and an obvious need to travel.

True, but we do have plans and are currently on vacation. It’s being delivered to me for far cheaper than I could even think about going to get it.

Hell, we have a hard time getting pizza delivered to our community pool since it's not our address! Please deliver the vehicle to Walmart,

See: Rear locker and lift for truck and trailer in the works.

Buggy is being delivered Thursday morning. I am beyond excited. Holding out really paid off. I stayed within my budget and got more than I hoped for.
I actually bought this before I knew what motor was even in it. The guy I bought it from was honest that he knew very little about it but that he bought it cause he was told it was worth the money and would do whatever he wanted. Since then he just wheeled it and loved it. All he could tell me was “it has an LS in it”
We talked at length many times and I just went ahead and bought it based what parts I did know it had. Then, after I’d already paid for it I finally got the under hood pics and he found the paperwork for a brand new LS2 crate engine from Scoggins Dickey Performance with a cam and several other goodies. Needles to say I was extremely thrilled. I just assumed it was a junk yard LS and I was okay with that.
It has 4340 RCV shafts with Solid knuckles and high steer arms. Brand hammer new Fox adjustable coilovers with remote reservoirs, cutting brake, 3 speed case, built TH400, brand new radiator, Wetsounds sound bar, heated seats, and much more.

The wheel base is a little longer than I wanted, but given the room and how much we will be in it I’m okay with it. I do have to cut the front stinger off and figure out something different to do up there so it will fit on the truck.

It was only $1400 to have it shipped to a friends house in High Point from Plano, TX.

I do not like the diamond plate dash. At some point I would like to have @WARRIORWELDING redo it with smooth aluminum.

I really dig the diamond plate.

I guess I'm showing my age cause I kinda like it.

@77GreenMachine is that a custom chassis or one of the ones you wanted? I like it.
It is a custom chassis. Idk who’s it is, I believe just a one off custom.

I offered $50k on the white M&M buggy and the guy wouldn’t budge so I passed. I sure am glad because this one has all the same parts plus more and was substantially cheaper.
