little LS swap help, Gen 3

Just did, confirmed its the dam injectors lol. Once again lesson learned, start simple. Should've pulled out my noid light from get-go and done this crap.
In my defense though, every LS swap (5now) I've had some swort of wiring issue, yes even with the top brand components but we won't go there so I assumed this was another one of those haha. My fault for assuming, thanks

You're far from using top components.

Thank you to those who helped guide me in right direction. I admit I have too many jobs going on at once constantly, I get lost in my work sometimes and forget simple things/ diagnostics but its how I operate. Nonetheless thsnk you to those who helped.

I can only speak for me personally and I've lost a lot of money due to it, but I can't bring myself to charge someone good money for my own education. Think that's where a lot here are coming from, billing someone parts and labor to be a trial and error guy doesn't and shouldn't sit right

Have you seen the customer invoice? How do you know how much John is charging the customer for his time on this? Obviously John is trying like hell to fix the problem to make it right for the customer.

What were the results of the compression test?

Have you found the issue? Or made progress to finding?

I stated earlier customer doesn't get charged for this stuff but nobody seems to ever listen cause it's easier to just pick on the guy rather than try to be decent people.

but I don't, this assumption is where people get bent over and think I'm some deuche when in reality, I take care of my customers better than I should. Not to brag, but that's why I stay so busy, word of mouth goes far in this type of work. People come to me because they get good quality work (not perfect or top notch), very fair price, but most of all my honesty/integrity about my work. I never claim to know it all, never have never will, and my customers know this about me. I know what I know, I'm good at what I do know. I allow customers to stay involved in their whole build throughout the whole process,..they can hang out and learn, watch what is being done, I give them lots of pictures throughout the progress and always invite them to be a part of their build/projects and that is something all my customers love about me. I'm out to build relationships not just do the job, charge my money and get out.

That's not on me, that's customer preference. What you don't realize is not everybody has money growing on trees in their yard, haha. And contrary to everyone's popular belief on this Forum, there are more people/customers out there who KNOW you can build something without having to spend stupid money on all high end parts and have the same end result. They are educated enough about their jeep/truck/whatever to know they don't have to have King shocks and everything fancy shmancy to go with it just to have a decent rig that can go 70mph down the road and be a very capable rig on the trail. And in this day and age with internet forums everywhere, honestly a lot of people who come to me know about the "interweb gurus" who make those statements of "build it right or don't build it at all and only use the very best of parts"...I know and they know that is not the case and well, that's how I get so much business. LS swaps especially, I show them they can get an LS in their jeep for much less by going this route/that route with these parts etc etc and that is what they're after. Heck I hardly ever charge people my hourly rate of 80p/h and i hardly ever charge per hour lol. My hourly rate is here for just reference mostly and for those common welding/fab jobs that I do charge hourly for but for 1Ton swaps/4link builds/LS swaps I mostly charge my own "fixed rate" for the most part. If I work a full 40-50hr week on a build and stay on it all week, i usually bill for around 30hrs at my labor rate and that's more than enough for me. That's just how I am, that's more money than I ever thought I would be making, of course it's not always consistent but I am blessed, of course customer is blessed and everyone is happy and I keep getting more and more business because of it. So there's a little rundown of how I operate my business in case you care to know and not assume/judge me on me being a deuche or ripping people off on parts/work/or quality.

We don't think you're German. We paid attention when you mentioned your Romanian heritage.

As someone who works for some overly proud Germans, this really hits home!

I wish i could understand this to see the humor?? in it but I can't lol

Basically the German motto is this:
"build it right or don't build it at all and only use the very best of parts"...
The part the Germans leave out of that is "and make it so complicated that it won't work right for long, and make it very difficult and expensive to service, and require a bunch of special tools"
