Yup. A friend of mine I rode dirtbikes with back in my 20's lost his license for 5 years from DUI's. He never stopped driving.

In my younger days I knew a old dude that that was such a repeat DUI offender that he lost his license in the late 60s/early 70s for life.
He drove every day.

Hmm... If it could identify, target, and neutralize a perpetrator, it may be worth it. It would be cheaper than a doberman and you only need to walk it once vs. daily. If it can't carry weapons, it's worthless.

I want the current LEOs to be proactive
I want the current people in charge (if we are to have people in charge) to have the best interest of the 99.9% of us as a goal
You do know that you and your family are in more danger due to the incompetence of the LEOs and the DAs? Or do you want the 'freedom' to run over jaywalkers, shoot thieves, punch stupid kids in the face, slash the tires of dangerous drivers, and kneecap the idiots blasting music, fighting dogs, speeding on city streets and shooting guns in the city? Or we let biz owners blast shoplifters and rioters? That would be some awesome freedom. Shoplifting and breaking windows would stop quick! I like it! Until we have the 'freedom' to take care of ourselves and our loved ones....what are you gonna do?

It's liberty to go where you feel safe and more in tune with the local community.

What did society expect to happen with Defund the Police initiatives, DAs and local governments vilifying them and not having their backs? Also add in rampant inflation and economic turmoil. That's a good chunk of a recipe for societal degragation. A little bit of entitlement for all "marginialized" members of society fuels the fire.
Speaking for the Asheville area- it's a liberal crap hole and everything mentioned above is seen there.
