Lots of interesting news today

Or maybe really he saw a meme so funny on the internet it killed him...
Nah, the truth is that when a traumatic incident occurs they give the whole class an A. He wanted to ensure some of those kids knew they only got a D on the assignment...

Isn't this just a normal 12v lead acid battery?

I mean, I don't recharge those in my kitchen, but thats only bc the charger mostly sits in the garage bc its the shortest path to the driveway.
If I didn't have a garage thats probably where I'd do it.

This seams like its only "news" bc its a Tesla

It's not exactly standard. I don't know why or how he even pulled it out to charge like that. My guess is that it was getting old/worn and he tried to refresh it using some dude's 100% fool proof youtube hack...

Newer Teslas use a lithium battery for low voltage, but yeah, most Teslas (and I'm sure the one in question) have a typical lead acid battery. It's somewhat easily removed and replaced, and there are instructions for it on Teslas Web site.

So yeah, not really news, but I really would urge everyone not too recharge lead acid batteries in their living spaces cuz gases from doing it are toxic.
