You should try reprogramming a Super Duty just to accept some flashing light!
Freaking PWM and LEDs with bulb detection and circuit ohm and amperage parameters.....and and and. Heck we could write enough code that the driver door must be open, humidity outside is a certain percentage, and the engine has to be at a temp range, and the passenger seat un-occupied for a damn turn signal on the right side only to work.
I definitely get how that goes, I've added some auxilary lighting to my 6g bronco that required some fancy tricks in Forscan to work, But I haven't had to go to the extant you're talking about.. Yet
