‘Unreal’: NC woman catches 449-pound blue marlin at Big Rock tournament

A boat out of Raleigh, captained by Bryant Montague, caught the first blue marlin of the 67th annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament. Lizzie Montague reeled in the impressive 449.7-pound fish after a nearly three-hour battle.

Israel did the math and decided a nuclear Iran was not something they could coexist with.

I saw a good article explaining the world's failure in stopping North Korea during the nuclear arms race. Israel wasn't going to let Iran stall and obfuscate their way into being a nuclear power.

It was a brilliant move. It allowed nations like the U.S. and Saudi Arabia to deny responsibility and claim the high ground and use their mid range air defense systems to guard Israel against Iran's immediate counter air strikes.

A lot of people don't realize how much distance there is in between these two countries. I have to wonder what its like being in Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Lebenon, etc with the missles flying over your head.
Obviously they tend to be against Israel anyway but don't wanna get sucked into it

York County family loses home and shop as woodworking business burns in overnight fire

Rustic Roots Warehouse is a total loss and the family that owns it is lucky to be alive after escaping an overnight fire at the woodshop in York County.

Total loss, they literally got out w/ the clothes they threw on.
The original house was from the late 1800s, Justin had built it into a shop and showroom,.he's been there a long time and the young family was growing up in it. A lot of people in Rock Hill know the business, it originally was a saw mill and woodworking shop for unusual woods, then he branched out into a high end landscaping business. They built a gem mining operation just for kids to have something to do and had just added a petting zoo and chicken races.

Justin encourages his employees to try out new business venture ideas and provides space for it on the property... every day they start the day w/ a popow around the fire and then beers and chill time at the end for whomever wants it. They also have a huge honor-pay firewood stand and Megan had just built a massive treehouse playground out front just for anyone to bring kids by to play in, all honor system.

The community support and outpouring has been pretty amazing. Just hoping it holds up bc its gonna be hard times ahead. Good news is Justin has a super level business head and I know was well insured.
