What have you done to your rig today?

Was this the one out of PA with the 4.0 and tiny fuel cell? If so, thanks for bringing it closer to home for me 😂
That's it. Drove up and got it this past weekend.

Its a 4.0/AW4/3.8 atlas
Trailgear 9's front and rear:
Front is gearworks hp10, spool, Branik 300m shafts
Rear is lp 9 with ARB, 35 spline
3-link front, 4-link rear, 2.5 airshocks
39 reds

and a 5 gallon fuel cell.

Should be fun.

It’s looks a lot like my old one I sold when my kids were small. Now the youngest can drive and wants to go wheel it.

Old one with my son standing on it, other is new one.

Glad you got it. It seemed to have the bones of a solid little machine. I was considering unloading the YJ for it at one point when it was first listed.

Been chipping away at installing parts I've had in my building that I'm tired of tripping over.
Lund visor and a GMT800 center console on my K3500, still need to wire up the visor but boy howdy does it look good!

The red truck is waiting patiently for the parts cannon, I'm waiting for cooler weather to tear into the front end, and while it's on jackstands for that I'm going to pull the bed to paint the frame and install the B&W, so it's nice to do these little things just to make progress on something
The K10 is still just a frame, I need to finish pulling lines off it and prep it for paint so I can do that frame the same time I do the K2500. Always something.

The time for the red truck has finally arrived; decided to handle some interior stuff first and try to breath a little more life into it; over 200K on it and the last 65K has been daily driver duty has left it's mark. Most of my plastics are worn down and discolored or damaged, dash is still solid aside from one little crack, the bezel and kick panel have a couple of healty cracks so those are getting replaced with junkyard OE plastic.
New key and new multifunction switch, going to grab a steering wheel puller tomorrow so I can finish up installing new parts.

I'm also going to take some time and redo some of my wiring under the dash; most of it was done when I was younger and isn't exactly my best work

I chased electrical gremlins all day on my ‘04 Dodge. Had a passenger front window that would go down only from the passenger door and wouldn’t do anything from the driver side door. Finally determined it was in the main control switch on the driver door. Replaced that for $145. Then I discovered that the driver rear window only worked when the door was shut. Found one wire completely broken in two and a few others about to break on the harness between the door and body. Found some Ching Chong replacement harnesses on Amazon that should be here in the next couple days.

Prep day for both the TJ and YJ. Finished mounting the Zillas and swapped tires on the TJ. Hit all the grease zerks and gave it a bolt check. YJ started pouring gear oil out of the front diff after GAC. Pulled the cover, cleaned up the surfaces and resealed it. Replaced the lower rad hose that got a pinhole in it at the end of GAC and flushed the coolant. It was pretty gross. Bolt check found a couple of nuts between the atlas and trans loose. Pulled them and gave it some fresh loctite. Still need to change the oil in both.

Heres what your old on looks like now, going to stretch it out to 111'' this winter. That 104" wheelbase has made me a better driver though.

Slapped the red truck back together, not done rewiring some stuff but it's done enough to drive.
Almost done painting the flares so I decided to throw my new 4x4 decals on and hot damn do they look good!
I botched the driver's side decal, I rushed myself and didn't level the decal so it's got an uphill pitch, need to order a new one but for now I can live with it until I can't. At least the passenger side looks good

Paint to match flares on. I'm not thrilled with the quality of the paint so I'll be picking up another set; and probably investing in actual painting equipment as well.
But for now, it looks good at 50 feet or 50 miles an hour

Anyone got a dirt cheap set of 8x6.5 bullet holes? These factory wheels look good, but I miss my stance with my old Eagle Alloys that are on the K3500 now.

I cannot get the supply line to stop leaking! Every other fitting is good to go. I ordered another male to male 90 in hopes it’s that.
I’ve tried redoing the hose end, then replaced the Amazon hose end with a summit brand hose end. So now I’m trying another 90.

Ugh. That’s the only thing stopping me from calling the fuel system complete and throwing the tank back in the jeep.

Been dreading the fan shroud project, but tackled it today. With the big block in there and a 4 core rad there's hardly any room for the fan.

Tried a Volvo fan, but it was about 1.5" too thick to go between the rad and water pump.

Already have a stubby vicious fan situation going on so the fan to pulley bolts are tight to say the least.

Had the OG dodge shroud sort of in there and it worked until the motor mounts shredded and the fan flung pieces of it everywhere. So summit shroud kit it was.

A few hours of fitting, cutting, and aluminum welding and it's in there. Seems to do the trick - amazing since there's hardly anything left of it.

You can’t do the 20 gallon tank?
Had the factory plastic 20 gallon under the bed, but stretched one tons would have eaten it. Have an RCI 15 gallon in the bed now with the Barnes hold down brackets. Works fine, but this 440 makes short work of 15 gallons.
