This one turned out great. Planning to run a temp tower this evening.

Jonas designed this compliant wheel for part of the tribot.

It's made of TPU with very little infill, so it flexes and squished a little.

I suspect there will be mire versions as they truly and get the compliance just right

Ordered some parts today. Nozzle clogged up on me.

New nozzle and the silicone thing that was recommended.

You may have figured this out already - but keep in mind that new nozzle may not be *exactly* the same length, so you'll have to adjust your baseline bed height or the Z-stop switch.

You can clean nozzles, but unless it is a fancy stainless, hardened, or something else expensive I find it easier to just replace them.

Yea, I re leveled the bed.

Yea, I re leveled the bed.
I'm curious, how have you found the bed leveling to be on that unit? Does it have 3 knobs or 4? Does it hold the level well?

No knobs. It has a allen head at each corner. I leveled it when I first got it, but just use the leveling in MatterControl. Ive not had to just relevel it. Only when I make changes.

Even the fancy printers sometimes yield shitty results

Thanks for these. Really helped me get an idea where I need to be. I’d refine them to snap on to the mental bars. I don’t want to glue them in place. Really neat you can make stuff at home with these printers.

Hot glue? Easy enough to remove as needed.

Making a spool holder for the MP mini. Also made a tool caddy that mounts on it.

Something weird happened and it got off on the x axis. Friend that gave it to me said maybe a voltage drop caused the motors to slow, but the computer kept on as normal. Oh well, fiv3w it character.

playing with the Fuzzy Skin setting in Cura, adds surface texture.

It's nice for animal models and great for hiding imperfections.
We are using it to make the surface of a TPU wheel more grippy

I'll have to try that. I assume a hot blow drier would loosen it? I think it needs more suort in the center. I like and and love the idea.

Yep. Heck often hot glue will just let go wit ha really good tug.
Careful! If this is printed in normal PLA, it will warp if it gets too hot (around 65c). Oh wait unless you meant intentionally reshaping the part.

Edit: now that I look it up, the melting temperature of hot glue, even low temp, is higher than that of normal PLA. @oscar80 confirm material?
