Come on now, a little arts & crafts are what make it all interesting.Nice. Really glad to see a cage not turned into some swoopy arts and crafts experiment.
Form/Function.

My arts and crafts are done with plate and sheet metal work and weld beads...[emoji6]Come on now, a little arts & crafts are what make it all interesting.

What’s with all these pictures in broad daylight? Since when do you sleep at night?
@mcutler I recall you saying your not a big fan of bending tube, on this jeep cage is the only long bent tube the one from A pillar to the rear?? I may have to rescan the mache build I just noticed that you section the tube! Is it faster to notch/section it for you then bend? I despise bending myself hence why I'm asking... lol
Yep, less math, which is not a problem for me, but the ease of working alone is why I choose this route. So instead of bending one tube 2 times you have two tubes bent once and welded together? What is the advantage besides a whole lot less math!? I'd love to see the proper way to section the tube. I would assume 1.75 would have 1.5 inserted into it with rosette welds on each side and then welded together. Close?
