and since JOhn raised the drive train up he had to make a new floor and tunnel.. so here are a few pics of tunnel in progress.

Maybe it's just the angle of the pics,but it looks like the shifters are gonna be waaay up there! Maybe time for a short shifter.

they are a liitle high, but its not a problem now(i can get all the gears fine). i want to see how it drives before i start modifing it.

As it is, in my professional opinion, you would have a hard time loading the top center tube in a shear situation thus negating the need for the perfect notch..
in tension and compression, this minor flaw will be undetectable.....as long as the tube is welded per industry standards....

All the juctions will be gusseted, so im not as worried about that gap.

Well we have been working on the toy again.. so things are starting to look up..

rear 9" axle is cleaned and ready to be rebuilt

We got front 44 axle.. time to clean that one up..

we got seats ready to go in and could not resist the pimp gold paint
