90's throw back.....Manche build

Damn it...
Sorry for your loss bro.

Always hard losing loved ones. Thoughts and prayers out to you and the family.

Matt, I am very sorry to hear of your loss. It's easy to see how much he meant to you. Prayers to you, your brothers, and the rest of your family.

this a copy from my pirate thread. Some good core thoughts that someone may need someday, because I know how all my family members influenced me to make me who I am today.

Just wanted to share...
Sorry for your loss. I just turned 29, I couldnt imagine doing what he did at my age.
Yea, my brother Darren and I were just discussing that. Single man, great income with Sprint doing line construction in a bucket truck, living on Lake Hickory, NC , in a clean little single wide on the water, no kids, no debt, racing dirt track on Friday nights with his friends at Taylorsville speedway... dude had it licked.... dropped it all and moved 1.5 hours back home to Mayberry... to the house he grew up in... to finish raising a couple teenagers..(13, 16, 19). Never batted an eye.

Given, my parents had done an excellent job with the few years they had with us, and had made sufficient financial plans to get us to young adulthood...(much of which was wasted on youth... but we had fun, as all three of us have become successful in our chosen walks). But, still Doug stepped up. Never had any kids of his own naturally...(raised a couple later on that weren't his biologically, but loved them as his own), and set aside his plans and dreams. (Taught me some things he probably shouldn't have, even before my parents were gone.. But that was a little different time... and hell, he was still a kid too.

Sorry, I could go on and on.

Thanks again pirate friends.

... end quote...

Sincerely, Matt

Sorry to hear about your uncle. Sounds like he was a great man.

Spent some time in the shop today to get out of the fog ...

Working on the last two exterior pieces of tin, to fully close the front inner fenders up.

Also decided the radiator cover looked a little plain, so I added some branding... my first attempt at script with the bead roller. Turned out pretty decent, even though it was on .090 aluminum, awful thick for rolling.

Badass like a mustache with titties

Edit: serious question, does bead rolling shrink the material or stretch it? Just curious if you had to make a whole new panel.

Same panel. Kind of does both, depending on if you go off the edge or run a closed pattern. It didn't affect this panel more than a few thousands on the perimeter, didn't even need to enlarge the bolt holes.

Thanks!

That bottom pic looks very "Chrysler" more specific stripped down "dodge truck".

That grill and flat fender line is really cool.

Your gonna half to park this thing at some cruise ins.......some old timers gonna drop their teeth.
