90's throw back.....Manche build

I spy a hood prop.

That's the attention to detail I love to see. I mean, a simple moveable part that makes working under a hood so much easier but who thinks about that sort of stuff?
;)

That's right, it's the factory hood prop; repositioned and rebent with a hold down for no rattles... thanks buddy!

Definitely a one off custom. Is it hinged or does the lid lift off?

Sounds like you've thought of everything. I've seen too many rigs hit the trail before they realize how much "stuff" they wish they had room for. This rig is definitely something I can aspire to. Keep up the awesome work.

I'm sure i have and/or will miss something. Making a quicker push next few weeks to get to Dixie run... needing a dirt fix and this is one trip I don't want to miss again. There will be some odds and ends to finish afterwards-enough to keep me busy through end of the year, but the meats and potatoes will be ready...

Looks good. Sorry we held you up today.
Was really cool see the rig and hang out some today.

Not a hold up at all. Glad we got to visit, not often I get visitors to shoot the shit about the off-road world. You're welcome anytime!

Mattix to kindergarten, Carter to middle school, and Carson was too cool for pics now that he's a senior... big day for the entire family.

Momma is a basket case, but me - I love watching them learn, grow, and mature... even as much as I would like them to stay little boys..

Stripped down for final push to get to Dixie Run. Ready to weld out, plumb, wire, and build interior...3 weeks and counting...don't want to miss another ride, need that rock fix...

Won't be 100% turn key, but will leave me enough little bits to keep me busy through the fall.

Looks good bro. I "heard" about the final push. In.
BDB.

Driving 2 footed I assume?

I'm figuring the wiring for the coil packs aren't as close to the header as they look?

It's actually more comfortable one foot, except for the distance away from the gas pedal. It's actually behind the brake pedals and canted to the similar angle of the seat. But yes, off-road I generally drive with two feet. The brake pedal will still take some adjustment, once it's bled and plumbed; I anticipate I can adjust more to the firewall at that time.

Coil pack wiring is all on top and behind the intake. Not sure what wiring your seeing close to the header; plug wires will be below the headers. Main engine harness on left side is 3-4 inches away.

Btw, saw your message, and apologize I haven't responded, spending every minute possible in shop next 3 weeks. . I'll be in touch soon.

Yeah, based on the front to back position, it looks impossible to make quick movements with 1 foot. Driving 2 footed offroad is a must, to me.

Its the main harness I'm seeing. I figured it wasn't as close as pics. I'd probly still throw some heat wrap on it as extra safety.

Hammer down; plumbing and wiring party this weekend with @Paul, @ol'Jeeps, and @jeepn-jason - everything needs to have a home by then, except for interior panels; I'll complete those once she's cranked...
