90's throw back.....Manche build

I’ve seen a lot of work vans running around with weighted tags. Although I have done no actual research, it seems that weighted tags are a thing for vans. No SUV-type loophole I guess.

If its titled as a passenger van no weighted tag is required. If is titled as a cargo van, you have to purchace a weighted tag. My first work van was a 12 passenger van and it had a regular tag. The van that replaced it was a cargo van and I had to put a weighed tag on it.

nc laws blow when it comes to weighted tags

it is very easy to form an LLC and establish a "leased" vehicle in a State that agrees this type of common sense

Impromptu entry in the local, 7th annual 89 Speed Shop car show. Still dirty from Dixie Run, first show, first win, Best 4x4.

Can you tell Mattix was excited we received a trophy?

25 years of wheeling, boxes of magazines with post-it notes hi-lighting tech and fab, before internet, forums, and social media; in my eyes, magazine features have always been the pinnacle of flattery.

Thanks to Ali Mansour, JP magazine, and family and friends who endured and supported me for over two decades of off-road obsession.

Thanks,
Matt

I think vans are very overlooked, for our needs. You can't buy a crew cab one ton (gas) of any brand for this price with similar mileage. Very low investment for a 3rd vehicle, that we'll still get much usage out of on the regular.

X2 on this. I think they are VERY overlooked. I'm still looking for a 14 passenger E-350 with the v10 and 5r110...That will be the wife's Excursion replacement one day.

Alright, someone wants this...

I'm ready to buy more tools/expand building to further CutlerFab. Let's get this machine to a new, excited owner; and I can build more, well built machines to enter the wheeling world!

- there is now only one set of tires, but there are 6 of them with two of those being brand new- 39" Krtb's

- there are 9 wheels total

- there is new sheetmetal aging, custom applied by the wonderful rocks of Harlan Ky.

- included will be a spare complete 2wd Comanche for body panels, color matched to original build.

- windshield is damaged, but will be replaced for new owner.

____$36,500 !!!!!!______:smokin:

Sad to say no one bought the entire rig together, Happy to say I got a new long term project

Took the big trailer to Matts and emptied his driveway :)
