alright lets talk business, shall we

my final words.
I had a new job lined up earlier this week, confirmed Wednesday evening (just to clarify)
last but not least, I regret getting into all this crap knowing how it would turn out. Yes I had been doing good keeping my butt off here and staying to myself and I let myself get into this junk again somehow and that I feel like a total idiot for (yes I do). I know better and lost my way! So what's done is done, said is said, moving on back to work and keep my happy butt off this place as to not give any fuel to any burning embers that are always lurking around here just waiting for me. I'm not perfect, I slip up and loose my cool, loose my temper/frustrations and go on a rant (which all this was) and yeah this was stupid and uncalled for and well that's that. Peace!!!

You want to start your own fab shop.
In case you haven't noticed, this is an expensive hobby.
People ask around before they walk up to a shop and start throwing hunded dollar bills around.
Guess how many here are gonna suggest to give your shop a try?
You have shot yourself in the foot as business owner before even getting started ........

Not only can you not work for anyone ..... you can't seem to deal with people in general.

You are a frustrating person to try to comprehend or talk to but I saved myself some time because after I read this part
"Employer charges $100 per hour: Pays employee 1 - $20 per hour ($80 p/h floating?)
Pays employee 2 - $20 per hour ($80 p/h floating?)
employee 3 - $20 per hour ($80 p/h floating?)
Floating $240 PER HOUR ....whose getting that money, the Employer!!!!
So the Employer is making $240 PER HOUR for every hour his 3 employees work," I decided it was not worth wasting any more time reading the thread.
It shows me that you have no clue whatsoever and no amount of discussion will convince you otherwise. If you think there is $80/hr "floating" and making employer rich you are an absolute idiot.

Well I'm sure it is all 100% tax deductible so the goverment is essentially paying him for the equipment and business cost. Net pass thru right, that way any monies earned go straight into his pocket. Employees dont get to write that stuff off the employer does.

lol, just to add to the mix, my dad own a 4 employee business if you count him. I guess 3 employee's if you consider him owner... Trust me, the headache, stress, bills, taxes, etc. He isnt getting rich. At the end of the month, paying his employee's, and taking some for him, there are still bills left unpaid. It is a constand juggle of how to grow, how to please your customers, etc. Not to mention keep your employees on task. Even the best employee can cost you money on the toilet, shooting the breeze, being wasteful, etc....

this guy gets it......and that is if each employee is generating $100/hr. If all three are working on the same project, you cant charge said customer $300/hr to compensate.....sure you might put out more work by getting it done sooner, but that isnt always the case...Also you know when you see the taxes paid....you know your employer pays part of that right???

Ah, the good old days. Is that thread still around?

I must have missed that thread. Would love to read it! @obullfish was trying to get me to do that to when my AC went out lol.
