This is a steel rod wright and McGill I believe not sure on year but cool as hell BC it's steel...
 
ice not caught crap in the last month beside 10-12" bass been working to much to venture out the back country to fish but I'd love to be able to catch my own shrimp... I'm jealous YALL got the salt water so close!

Hit up the Wateree River in Camden SC on Saturday morning for some action. Caught some cats, few small stripers and a crap ton of bluegill, shellcracker and sunfish. Biggest cat was 15lbs.

You mean you hung stripers and cut them off once you realized what they were without pulling them out of the water, right? ;)

Me and a buddy hit Rocky River in Midland NC yesterday for a quick evening trip. He caught a catfish and I caught a pile of redbreast's. River is low right now but there was a lot of fish activity where we were. Anyone else fish this river? If so where do you like to fish it and at what time? I am just getting started fishing here since it is really close to home/work...

I just bought a kayak and have been wanting to get on rocky river. Thought about going Saturday morning. Where are you putting in at?

Used to be a lot more in to it...little bro used to fish semi-professionally, and I'd typically be his adult team mate. Did a lot of big bass classics, fisher of men tournaments, etc etc. You can see here on his old boat, Cheerwine used to sponsor us...

We put in yesterday at Riverbend Farms a little ways below 24/27. The wooden launch ramp here is still 10' above the water though so it is a pain in the ass to launch anything right now...They have a few other launches scattered around too from what I have read.

Nah I've fished against him quite a few times.

Remember the boat. First time I met him he pissed me off, when we actually talked he was a good dude.

Weisensel's have a tendency to do that. He's way more of a hot head than I am, and he's smaller stature, so he's gotta make up for it, ya know. Probably saw my dad a few times then...big ol' boy. But that boat is gone, he got a skeeter that's 2-3 years old with a 250 merc. He's the other half of the Lawn care bidness we have...and is the ER charge nurse at CMC these days.
 
I got out out of tourney fishing all together.
I dont remember the details. Think he crowded me on a ridge I was fishing or something and we exchanged words across the water.

Then a couple weeks later we both placed in a big tourney on Wylie..well big for Wylie...I won it and I think he was 3rd/4th maybe. We chatted for a few.

Honestly I wouldnt even remember him except the boat...and his name was Sam and my fishing partner was Sam...
