If y'all like fly fishing then ya need to plan a spring trip to Blacksburg va and give me a heads up. I can set ya up in some prime bass waters not many people fly fish bass but out here on the new! In spring you would catch more on fly I feel like, I've heard stories of guys catching pike on fly rods in winter time!? Yea we are in the smokeys right now too caught 5 trout and 3 bass in the last 3 days . We were up here 4 weeks ago and they were biting like crazy water is down not as much luck this time .

I was fishing the headwaters of the creek that smokemont camp ground is at. A really light orange or tan fly with a white hackle or an all white fly size 18-22 is what I caught everything on

A little fishing up at Wilson's Creek during a recent backpacking trip. Been using a tenkara rod for a couple of years now and It's just perfect for small streams like Wilson's. Fresh fish over the fire makes for an awesome dinner.

Got this hog yesterday on south Holston lake on TN side 18" just under 3lb my Personal best for tn smallie!

Muskie on the French Broad Henderson County, my cousin can catch a fish in a mud puddle

Nice Muskie! Never caught a Muskie that big but have caught a lot of big Northern Pike but not in the French Broad.
