Anyone want to tag along for the KOH trip?

Time to make decisions if you are on the fence :) If you decide to go last minute, you may be stuck sleeping on the floor or having to drive another vehicle out there, etc.

Um, with the RV prices local, we'll prob. just haul out there in a truck and pick one up local. Well, prices aren't that bad, but the mileage charge is a killer. Plus, MPG in an RV is much worse than a truck pulling a trailer.

I'm leaving in the AM. Should be on the lakebed late Friday or early Sat of next week. Look for the big camo netting.
 
Live coverage? I think its prob. Pirate only but I'm sure it will be well documented by numerous other medias. I think the press release I got the other day said last year it was covered in like 6 magazines not to mention TV and DVD medias and forums, etc.

Yea, i'm looking for some cheap clear goggles for in the evening. Not really finding them.

I asked and the crew picking me up is supposed to have a bunch... What I'm reading about the vendors and such, might be able to even pick some up out there. I'm probably taking some safety glasses... if it isn't real bad, they'll be more comfortable for after dark.

I doubt the team has considered it, at all. They still have bigger things on their to-do list. ;) We'll have the vid. cam and a couple of digital cameras that will also shoot video...
 
I thought about the in cab camera but I've had other things to worry about and $$$ is starting to get short, so cutting costs wherever I can :D

I do have a digi video camera but its not something I'd want to install in the buggy.

I was thinking about going to Sam's and getting a skateboarding/bike helmet cam for like $50 but I think the quality won't be worth the time or efforts for that cheap camera
 
This one is specifically for "extreme" conditions, shockproof and submersible (in case you're Woody...) I used it in the Fall Brawl w/o issue. Sound is kinda crappy.
unf we may be out of time, though, unless there is some place I can ship to.
