I firmly believe the single biggest thing rhe average person can do to change their financial future is to sincerely vow and have zero car payments
Get a Lariat, pauper That Ford 360 is pimp.I absolutely love my rear camera. Especially when I hook up a trailer. I would love a front camera to see the car in front of me when pulling in a tight parking lot. But hey I'm old and lazy.
Or fat guys that need their backs loosened up in the morning.
When I was looking I was lucky to find a F250 on the lot and a dealer that would deal....Get a Lariat, pauper That Ford 360 is pimp.
Or just ride in mine one day
I may have 360, but at least your rigs runsWhen I was looking I was lucky to find a F250 on the lot and a dealer that would deal....
Gonna be interesting when I ask for my 59% raise this year....59% more expensive 8 years later. Hmmm. The average American guy probably isn't making 59% more money than he was 8 years ago.
Tonya's new (to her) Tahoe has heated leather seats.First vehicle she's owned w them. She says they are a must have now.I could go damn near super plain jane on a new truck. Just give me power windows and locks. I don't require anything else. It also could be that I don't know what I am missing since I have never had any of those fancy features like heated/cooled seats, backup camera, heated steering wheel, touch panel etc.
04 was the last time we borrowed money for a car and I plan to keep it that way BUT most people will want something that's less than 10 years old.I firmly believe the single biggest thing rhe average person can do to change their financial future is to sincerely vow and have zero car payments
They are nice...and the aftermarket can provide.Tonya's new (to her) Tahoe has heated leather seats.First vehicle she's owned w them. She says they are a must have now.
I want to add heated seats to my Jeep, but reaaaaally don’t want to mess with pulling the bestop seats apart. They are nice...and the aftermarket can provide.
$5T in deficit spending broke your dollar calibration.Covid has turned stuff upside dow
The optional accessories you're bitching about don't come on the base model truck that you say is too expensive. The rest are federally mandated. They are nice...and the aftermarket can provide.

We're here from the .gov and wanna make sure you have all of the distracting safety equipment you need to be less distracted. The optional accessories you're bitching about don't come on the base model truck that you say is too expensive. The rest are federally mandated.
They could save exponentially more lives AND get rid of 90% of the bloat ware safety equipment if they would just install cell.phone jammers in all new carsWe're here from the .gov and wanna make sure you have all of the distracting safety equipment you need to be less distracted.
what if I don't want a base model truck? and also don't want to pay for seat heaters? The optional accessories you're bitching about don't come on the base model truck that you say is too expensive. The rest are federally mandated.
Bullshit! We just had a truck in the shop for 6 weeks trying to get a part. We have another truck in the shop for a couple weeks trying to get all the parts for it. But yes some people are lazy.the delays are over. people are just lazy now.
False.what if I don't want a base model truck? and also don't want to pay for seat heaters?
covid is over. the delays are over. people are just lazy now.
automakers are not going to lower prices...why would they? the morons keep snatching up every thing that is built.
FIFYThey could save exponentially more lives AND get rid of 90% of the bloat ware safety equipment if they would just make everything 100% autonomous. But nobody really wants that.
just curious.....do you know exactly why the part is delayed? Could it be that the supplier can't find a non-POS 18 year old kid to pack a box and tape it up?Bullshit! We just had a truck in the shop for 6 weeks trying to get a part. We have another truck in the shop for a couple weeks trying to get all the parts for it. But yes some people are lazy.
False.
I ordered a new truck about 6 weeks ago. Lead time is 6-8 months.
Ford is building XLT and Lariat Super Duty's currently. My rep said you won't see any Platinum or King Pimp trucks for a while.
The automakers are sticking to limited different models and option packages in an attempt to get more out the door.
Prices won't be lowered as there is still demand, inflation is real and the market dictates the prices listed.
FIFY
There's no stock options for lawmakers when traffic laws are enforced.just curious.....do you know exactly why the part is delayed? Could it be that the supplier can't find a non-POS 18 year old kid to pack a box and tape it up?
Yea...I know. There still being demand for trucks that are 20-50% more expensive over the course of 3 years is baffling.
Na, we could fix most of traffic woes if the current laws were just enforced. Not hundreds of billions on new 'tech' and overreaching gov't mandates. Oh, and get school buses and slow moving trucks off the interstate. But you're right, no one wants to do anything at all. Laziness and apathy has taken a firm grip.
Yes. the first was because there were none on hand in the country. The current one in the shop had several parts on order and took a couple weeks to get most of them but UPS lost one part so now it had to be reordered.just curious.....do you know exactly why the part is delayed? See: Frieghtliner chassis control module for example.Yes. the first was because there were none on hand in the country. The current one in the shop had several parts on order and took a couple weeks to get most of them but UPS lost one part so now it had to be reordered.
I left out the fun fact that antoher truck broke down last Friday and now we are being told it's the DOC valve or system. That is a $10K repair.See: Frieghtliner chassis control module for example.
There's a ton of them out there with no front turn/marker lamp on one side. The part has been on galactic backorder for years.
You're still pointing the finger in the wrong place. Employment participation rate among young people is at where it was pre-covid and is continuing to rise.just curious.....do you know exactly why the part is delayed? Could it be that the supplier can't find a non-POS 18 year old kid to pack a box and tape it up?
