B2XJ - Low and Fast

Looking good man. I think I remember passing you the other day, but I wasn't expecting you to be in a black XJ.

If Chris paints his Cherokee pink I'll give him my exhaust I have for sale JK LOL BTW the jeep looks sweet.

Tcase rebuilt and SYE added. Transmission flushed. New power steering pump to stop the last leak I had. Swapped out the tinted turn lights for stock clear ones for import. One of the driveshafts, maybe both, are royally screwed. Top speed is 45mph without the thinking trying to shake apart. Finally got the spare beadlock setup.

Dropped of B2XJ last night with WarriorWelding for a set of their bumpers.

Also picked up an XRC8 Comp winch. Hopefully the guys will have the bumpers done in a couple weeks and I can get the XJ loaded on to a boat.

If you guys only knew. Italy apparently hasn't invented internet yet.

Andrew at Warrior Welding has been fine tuning my XJ over the last couple weeks. I dropped it off with him to have bumpers built and took time out of his schedule to go over the XJ with a fine tooth comb.

The bumpers are done and from the photos I've seen, they look hot.

He also reinstalled the JCR tcase skid without the 1" drop (now that the SYE is installed).

He also talked with Oliver's Driveshaft and got me a custom built rear driveshaft to resolve a number of problems with my newly "rebuilt" shaft that was a complete waste of money.

I believe Andrew dropped the XJ off with RedLyner today. I should be able to get some photos of it as it sits from him, before he puts it on the boat to Italy (45 days transit time).

I met my first Jeeper the other day. An Air Force guy with a JK on 35's. He went straight to wanting to have a pissing match without even seeing my XJ. I'm thinking I will park B2XJ next to his JK for a month to give him penis envy.

We've rented a car twice and hit the roads randomly driving the mountains around Pisa. There are so many trails it's not even funny. I can't wait to get the XJ back in my hands.

Loki's rig was dropped off today and I know he's dying for some shots, so I snapped a few driveway pics before it got dark:

I hope to see some Italian Rock rash on those soon, but maybe stay away from the Italian sports car red for awhile. :driver:
Some poor chap might have some American steel in his lap and you drive away!

Hope you like em'.

Thanks for posting pictures Redlyner.

Our first day driving we had a Ferrari pass us on the interstate at at least triple our speed.

Thanks again to Warrior Welding. They really out did themselves. Also, thanks to Brandon at Rides of Conover for referring me to Warrior Welding.

Dammmn that thing looks sweet I'm so jealous that is almost a complete clone of what I want mine to look like.

Looks Great!!!

most ridiclous bumpers i ever seen on a cherokee..... except mine .. no seriuosly bad ass right there

Both bumpers are nice, esp the front that is so differently awesome. Hey I may have made a new word!...never mind, most all already be, spell check didn't pick it up.

seriously, I like!

Awesome bumpers!
Driving in Italy is fun isn't it?

Thanks for all the compliments on the bumpers. Honestly, I can take no credit. WarriorWelding did an amazing job, above and beyond. The referral credit all goes to Rides of Conover.

I actually like driving here, more than in the US. At first glance it appears that it's a free-for-all, but that's not the case at all. Everyone is extremely aware of everyone else on the road. Maybe it's the smaller cars in general, maybe it's driving habits.

On another note, IronMan4x4Fab's set of adjustable rear shackles arrived yesterday. The XJ is still months from arriving here, but the parts ordering has already started.

I totally agree with driving there vs here. Nice shackles! I think I'm in the market for bumpers soon.

Just got off the phone (Google Voice calling is free from Italy) with Tyler from Rock Solid Off Road Fabrication. Ordered a set of Dana 30 RCV Performance axle shafts to be delivered and installed by Rides of Conover.

Rock Solid are the guys that put the LS motor in the XJ. After talking with Tyler, I'm very tempted to put a HEMI 6.1 swap on the list of things to complete when returning to the states.

I thought I did such a good job selling you on the Ten Factory shafts. 6.1? Is my sister putting crack in your pasta over there?

In all seriousness, if it is a Mopar engine and is newer than your vehicle, shouldn't it be able to pass emissions?
