Custom set up or store bought. Wanting to add some comfortable seating in the sleeper of the Pete but I need seatbelts for car seats
Bought cj lap belts and bolted them down. I ordered the extra big person set. So they would reach up and around people

KOA is great. There prices have gone up since they converted to a "resort" but we like it due to lots of stuff for kids and convenient to beach and sound.
But there are cheaper places real close by
Search camp grounds rodanthe you will see a bunch.
Still using it.
Currently at OBX
Corbin helped me install flat.tow brackets on GMC.
If the RV breaks down you can just put the Sierra in the front.

What do you have to do to flat tow that truck? Just toss it in neutral and roll out?

We tow a Yukon xl. Basically put tcase in neutral, put key one click forward to release steering lock, and disconnect battery bc radio is on when the key is on.

with all the rain they’ve had the last few weeks, have they fixed the drainage issues they had in the past ?
last time we were there the area we were in was saturated, the cross road across the grounds had 8” standing water the full width. Then there was the high dollar Class A sitting in a foot of water across from us. (dude had a sense of humor about it, sitting in his lawn chair surrounded by rubber ducks and other inflatables)
I would say they have fixed some but not all. The crazy stuff you and I saw that trip is not there anymore. But there are a few areas having a hard time draining.
Took the bus out for a quick weekend getaway to Wilmington.
Since I had nothing to do but drink some beer and relax I started thinking about the next steps in updates for the bus.
We decided we are going to put a bed in the back and kick the kids out and make them sleep up front. Which means I need to build some new seats up front. And also add some good shoe storage by the door. So later this summer I will begin the next chapter.
