As many know i sold my Jeep and rzr to buy a new house in the middle of a remodel. Well we signed on Jan 5th and have been hard at it. 5 new ceiling fans, all new light, grouted the kitchen, laid tile and grouted the master bath and set the vanties, wife has been painting with help, we had the den dry walled over paneling and scarped the ceilings and had a garage door hung.....
Then this weekend i started the flooring upstairs, i am off by 1/8" over 24 ft so very happy so far.

We also opened up a door way in the bath room and hung new door. Hung the new tv. And had flooring downstairs installed.

Looking good Snappy! Loving that house, got that nice country look.
Let me know when you wanna do something bout the other house.

Looks good, I dig the style of that house.

What part of town you in? Im originally from shittowne...I mean High Point.

OK, it looks really far back from the pic. Good thing I've never done that! ;)
For my first time laying floor, i am very pleased!! Stuff happens but to keep it straight as it is, glad i spent an hour and half measuring and figuring before we started.

My nephews have asked me "how do you know how to do everything" LOL
Because I effin had to. I was raised to figure it out and do it, we didn't have the money to call plumbers and electricians and carpenters.
Now it's just principle but I enjoy doing stuff myself.

Good on you for showing gumption.

Don't get me wrong, I still do it every now and then. Depending on where it is located we either set it and puddy or cut it out and replace it. For $1700 you would have me fixing that!

Its behind the door and the nail head is flush to semi counter sunk so stays as is, I am worried I will make it look worse than it does if I mess with it.
