Carolina Truggies JK Build

After fighting the dash and all the PITA components Jeep stuff back there we finally got the upper rear section of the frame finished and burned in today. Everything is 1.75 .120 1026 DOM. It's turning out very well and our measurements are dead on for mounting the hard top. Ill have pictures up in the morning, sorry for the wait.

nice welding.

It'll make sense when it's all done. The is no lack of strength in that area and I have a couple more pieces to tie into that area. Ill post up more next week. I'm down an office guy and it's hurt my productivity badly.

blown JK , that is going to be one bad ride . I would love to see how it performs after its all said and done . I take it that you are gonna drive it around as a daily driver ?

Carolina Truggies , very nice work . Keep up the pics !

well then we need to hit some trails then

and yes this will be my daily driver, I need to keep my cripple ass in one vehicle from the road to the trail head:D

Does the JK width make the track width wider than the average rig? Or did you build/order axles shorter and use less backspacing? From the pics it looks like a big crawler

Stock JK axles are about 3" under full width, the body and frame is much larger and wider. Axles are SOLID 60s, their specs.
