Very sweet, first JK with a comp cut that I've seen yet! and that cage is freakin awesome!
So why the hemi? Why not a cummins?
If we built this Jeep to tow it would have a cummins, other than that I personally think a cummins doesn't belong in a offroad rig due to the weight and lack of wheel spin like Brandon said. Also if you drove this thing with the hemi in it you wouldn't be able to wipe the smile off your face......So why the hemi? Why not a cummins?
Do you feel the lack of wheel spin came from having to wait for the turbo to go to full spool?weight and wheel spin .. i had a cummins in my buggy and it has shitloads of torque but no wheel spin.

Thanks for all the kind words guys, Offroad Evolution does a hell of a good job so I take that as a huge complement. They did build one JK that is called "straight to ridiculous" and it is exactly that, but I feel this is more of a east coast more rock friendly rig due to the others lack of up travel.
Ill post some more up once we finish the lower half of the cage and the seat mounts.
Up travel??? We don't need no stinkin up travel around these parts. If we built this Jeep to tow it would have a cummins, other than that I personally think a cummins doesn't belong in a offroad rig due to the weight and lack of wheel spin like Brandon said. I would say its more of the lack of RPM in each gear. A cummins could turn 3500 max in first gear, where the hemi could hit 6000, thats a lot more wheel speed in each gear.....
I don't know what the CR cummins will spin, but no stock cummins I've seen has gotten close to 3500 rpm. But you're right, they lust lack the rev range to get the tires going fast.
