In Arizona with a toasted clutch in my '99 powerstroke. If anyone on the lakebed can find a clutch give me a call, 336-8one7-35six5. The truck is still drivable for now (letting clutch cool right now), but not sure if it will make it to the lakebed, gonna try though. Napa in Yucca valley can have a clutch on Monday, but I might would buy from a vendor if someone could get one.
 
Well I really don't know if anyone else can help us that is following this but were pretty much stuck right off mile marker 130 on 40! Were doing about 25 mph and anything past that and the clutch gives, if there was anyone that we could find to haul the gooseneck rest of way I'm pretty sure the truck could make It there and then we could replace the clutch!
 
Mile marker 130 in what state? How far from Barstow are you?

sounds like they're about 8-10 miles east of Seligman AZ

You do realize that the scenery in the movie CARS was modeled after that area along Rt 66/I-40 right?

Maybe limp into Radiator Springs or call 'Mater to come get ya ?

Hahahaha wow!! Well were pretty aggravated an pissed off but I just read out loud to the guys what you said about radiator springs made us all laugh! Lol! I think insurance is going to finally haul us to kingman but gonna be waiting for another hour prob!

If I knew anyone close(r) or was able to go myself, I'd help you out. My Dad is in Phoenix, but that's 3-4hrs south of you. got buddy in Show Low as well, ( behind you 5hrs or so ) neither has the equipment ( or tools ) to help
 
Crazy thing is through Facebook an a few other forums there were alot of ppl that called me and trying to help in anyway the could(even ppl I didn't even know) it's been great lol! Sounds like insurance is going to tow us to kingman and have a guy that will let us use his shop to put the clutch in.....if we can get it in time
 
How far from Hammertown are you? I hav'nt followed pirate, but looks like someone could/should hook ya up. If you're close enough...maybe the Barco team would help you out...just thinking out loud...Good luck.
 
Well went and saw team Robby bobby and they did they ate as ready as the can be for the race today. We are all getting ready to go watch the ever man race
