Man, I can taste the dust and feel the sand between my toes! Thanks for the pics guys! Get one with all six in front of the bus with the banner - nice one for the website later. I can tell none of you are having any fun at all... :)

Well we just got the clutch in the ol Ford and back on the road!!!! We might FINALLY get there in a few hours!

So did ya'll end up installing it on the side of the road or did yall find a shop to do it. Details

A guy on pirate came and pulled the trailer 80 miles to his shop, my insurance company paid for the truck tow bill luckily. We found a clutch and flywheel at the local NAPA in Kingman, so after $507 and 4 hours of work at the tire shop we were back on the road. Got to around 7:15 tonight, set up camp and then rode around some, busted a trailer tire pulling into the camping spot though...

Well we got to meet Robby Gordon last night and crawl all over his race rig.. very cool stuff on it.. but he has already broke a bunch so we are betting he will break during main race

been to jack hammer, sledge hammer, back door, etc..

gonna do some more riding around today and check out some more trails..

Sean rose was expected to be here at 7am today so we hope to see him soon

To tell you guys the truth the qualifying has not been that greatreally, I kinda got bored lol! I think I would have rather been riding around more mountains and dunes lol!

Definitely. From what I saw pf the qualifying this morning, it wasn't worth watching. The 'happyway hour' with all the big names was alright, but still nothing great. I am sure the main race should be exciting when there is a multitude of rigs trying to get up chocolate thunder (who the heck came up with that name?).

I broke the clutch lever on my dirtbike yesterday, fixed it at the miller welders booth though. Ben lost a bead on his atv tire today, fixed that and soon after the drive belt came apart. We knew it was going to break because it was shooting out little shreds out of the air outlet for the CVT breather.

I am eager to see the motorcycle race, and the utv race, but best I can tell, don't make a special attempt to see the qualifying, it's more fun to ride the trails. If you ever come, bring a dirtbike, they are an absolute blast, the sand is kind of tough though. I went a good ways up Sledgehammer on the bike, but stopped when I saw the huge ledge...

Qualifying is slow going, especially when people break or roll.

Since we've been there the past 2 years, I don't really know what the Pirate live coverage was like... I enjoyed the video coverage with Tech Tim (never caught the other guy's name), but I think it was supposed to be widescreen.
