Also picked up a light bar on the cheap which was too long, but cheap enough to attempt to cut it up and rewired to fit. Started as a 52", i took 8 inches off to make 44". A little tedious due to cheap ass fasteners but we can thank the Chinese for that.
Previously had 2-10" single row leds behind the A pillar under the brow. Plenty of light, slightly in my sight line, but the biggest problem is when i run my lexan windshield, you can't use them for the glare on windshield. We'll see if i can keep this in one piece through lions den. ...
Getting started on the coilovers now.
Will have to change all upper shock mounts and rebuild front axle upper link mounts to get closer to 50/50 travel in the front. Rear axle requires no modification.
Front upper link mounts must be dropped/frenched down into the truss rather than tabbed on top.
QUESTION : when setting up at full bump do you allow for the 1/2" of bump to ensure full travel through the shaft snubbers on Fox coilovers?
Other mods this winter;
-Shorten rear shaft due to more bump travel
-relocate spare driveshafts and speakers just to de-clutter back end
-possible repaint
-new dash and gauges
-head rest pads
-larger steering cooler
-aluminum links
-fast fill for fuel cell
-possibly headers
