Cream Puff

So the rear pinion has some play in it up and down.
Should I just tighten the nut more and send it? It’s an 8.8. No idea how long it’s been like this.

I agree. I wanted to be safe. The effort for non safety items is completely unnecessary though.
I also want to enter some shitbox races with the Jeep in the future if anyone ever does another like Gulches did.

Can’t wait to get this thing loaded on a trailer headed to Harlan
If I get my engine mounts done and go to gulches Saturday I will ask. I enjoyed the competition I watched and swore when I get mine done It would get entered in one there.

Harness bar in and seats getting bolted up.

Crazy how much this has changed. First time we hit it , it was a fresh trail , like moss all over the rocks, much narrower and one line .If you didn't hit it hard from the bottom you wouldn't make it out. I got to the top and had to cook about 20k miles off a set of reds to make it out. 2005-6 maybe?
And yes, Dave Rees is lucky to be alive.

So where is that and what's the back story on the near death experience.

@Van-go try to get videos of all the fun :driver: And bonus style points for not cutting the ends off the zip ties :rockon:
The entire grill is held on with zip ties. I feel like every XJ owner should carry a bag
