Little update… just a few things left to do. Brace from the “frame” up to the front seat bars.
Make a new front bumper
Plenty of little maintenance things.
Bolt check etc.

I’ve got a plan for that with the new bumper I’m building. Not gonna be pretty, but should help protect the radiator. Grill and headlights are already held on with zip ties. 😂

Just always bad timing. I’m either already going or just coming home from a trip every time someone else invites me wheeling and since I’m mostly poor (from owning a Jeep and wheeling) I can’t swing all the trips.

I am also going on November for my daughters birthday. She had a choice between Ivy Branch, Harlan, and The Ranch and even though we just came back from Harlan she chose it again.
 
So I haven’t mounted the tires cause the new wheels were basically made out of sheet metal.
had a buddy cut some rock rings out for me and @hurt4x4 rolled some bar stock to stiffen the inner bead.

Have a few small things left.
Threw a little paint on the cage and wheels last night. Need to mount tires tonight, make a harness bar, mount seats. Then it’s fluid check/bolt check and load up.

I agree. I wanted to be safe. The effort for non safety items is completely unnecessary though.
I also want to enter some shitbox races with the Jeep in the future if anyone ever does another like Gulches did.

Can’t wait to get this thing loaded on a trailer headed to Harlan
