Hopefully will be the last dino I buy...Well let me know how it goes, I have 3 trucks with the 7.3 diesel that I would like to run it in. I have seen the kits to convert the front tanks in the trucks to run veg. oil, but that seems like it could cause problems in the winter time getting thick. From what I hear you can run the biodiesel straight, without switching to regular diesel before you cut the truck off, and when you start it.
hedge your bets and your cost. How long do you think you can get before it pays off.Anyone paid $4/gal or more yet for diesel around NC(not talking about CA or some other place)? The station a couple of miles from my house is up to $3.96/gal. Looks like two local ones are at $3.99/gal: http://www.greensborogasprices.com/index.aspx?fuel=D I guess nobody wants to cross that $4 barrier.

So that I can go to do work with it.
Maybe this has been hit on before but diesel is the working mans fuel!! Sorry for the rant just had to get it off my chest why is diesel so much more expensive? i thought it required less refining and what not? maybe i am wrong?
it all W's fault....he turned up the dial on fuel prices so he could buy another baseball team when he leaves office.why is diesel so much more expensive? i thought it required less refining and what not? maybe i am wrong?
