It has been sitting for a long time.@UncleWillie had you just driven it? Or was it cold?

What is really odd is just the night before I noticed it was barely touching the ground. No weight on itI've had a trailer tire do that just sitting under the shelter. Not even in a position where it gets any direct sunlight on it. Best place it could have happened, really.
Meh. I've had 2 sets dry rot and crack on the sidewall in less than 5 years. I think the ones on the wife's ZJ were less than 3 years old.Dang! And those are Michelin LTXs too. You don’t get a better more quality tire.
Weird, I’ve run several sets on cars and trucks. Never an issue, just long life and great traction. Shit, I have bought them used from the guy at the flea market working out of a storage unit for half the cost with 80% tread.Meh. The LTX M/S used to be the gold standard for a highway tire. My father in law swore by them, and I had plenty of good experience with them also. Then in the mid 20-teens I had issues, and about 3-4 years ago, my father in law who swore by them for as long as I've known him finally switched to BFG's because of repeat bad experiences with Michelins.Weird, I’ve run several sets on cars and trucks.
