If anyone is lookin to have work done to there truck DO NOT by any means take it to Lees Diesel Performance he really screwed my truck up and wont fit it. He ia a complete butcher i wouldnt let him work on my lawnmower after seeing what he did to my truck. STEER AWAY

I had him install injectors a fass fuel system and efi live on my duramax. I got it back leakin fuel he tore the oring on the injectors, he wired the fass directly to the battery with no ring terminal he just jammed the wire under the terminals causing corrosion, as well as the efi live with custom tunes are worthless, it shift hard as hell under partial throttle and has less power than before.....

I told him i needed it to go on vacation before i took it to him and he said it wasnt a problem. Then i had to wait til the night before i left to get it back all f'd up. I paid the man alot of money and supplied parts. Im not truckin 2 hours away to let this guy butcher my truck again. I told him to come get it he caused all the problems and he wont.

Well that makes it a different story. I will admit I hate seeing stuff tied directly to the battery, especially without a ring terminal. I dont even know what EFI live is, but maybe he had tuning issues? Is it something that has to be special tuned for each motor?

EFI Live is pretty much a tuner that you can adjust everything, if somebody doesn't know what they are doing they could destroy the engine. And yes it has to be tuned to each motor.

I know the guy I don't know all the details to this story but I do know he has told you to bring it back, and I'm sure the reason he hasn't come to get it is because he has a normal mon-fri job as well as hauls loads for other truckers, which he does at nights and on the weekends whenever they need him, so he probably hasn't had time. Who on here has never had anything mess up when they were replacing something, ie the oring. Not saying it couldn't have been avoided but a rushed schedule and busy shop and busy customer, I could see it happening.

Ok here is the other side of the story....
he brought the truck while i was at the beach, which was fine and i knew i had 2 weeks to get this truck done, my mechanics where still workin while i was on vacation. He told me he was bringing a fass and gauges and injectors. (dont like fass but its not my $) thought it was a normal fass 150 because duramax's dont need but 8-10 psi fuel pressure. well turns out he bought a fass 220GPH which most drag trucks dont even use. but he brought so it was installed. (yes not using ring terminals was a minor messup but i agreed to fix) fass was wired the way we were told. he also brought glowshift gauges (worst gauges on the market) parts were missing so i talked him out of installing those and putting Good gauges later on. Thought be brought injectors but it turned out to be nozzles. so we had to pull his used injectors out and put nozzles on. no o rings were provided but they all looked fine. truck ran fine. i got the tunes back from my guy (granted i told him it make take 3 or 4 tries to get the tunes perfect with a STOCK TRANS) 3rd set of tunes weren't bad but it was getting close to our deadline. tried to download the 4 set of tunes but the truck never would take them...not sure why, we tried several times. told him you can get your truck but its NOT FINISHED!!! he said thats fine i will bring back after i get back from my trip. he drives down 2 hrs to pick truck up. i had the truck running, i had tested several times up and down the road and everything was fine. he pulls up, i crank the truck and it starts dumping fuel out the back injector, i tell him i'm sorry we will fix and i will bring the truck TO YOU TOMORROW, pulled injector out and found out the check ball on the side was missing...these were the old injectors in the truck, ball just doesnt fall out, talked to a # of guys. i just happened to have 2 injectors there, we pulled the nozzle off, installed injector, i ran a test with the efi live, it ran perfect, problem solved. i load up and take to him the next day, 2 hrs away out of my time even thow the injector was not our fault i felt bad and didnt want a unhappy customer. he drives the truck, pays me and is on his way.

Gets back from his trip cussing me up and down saying it runs terrible, 9mpg, leaking fuel blah blah and i say ok bud i'm sorry but the truck was not done tuning and we will fix everything just bring the truck back....and here we are...he want bring it back because he doesnt have time or thinks i should...Really?

also while he was gone i did some research on how to make his cp3 live and make the fass 220 work so it doesnt mess anything up, bought a $260 LBZ fuel regulator and $40 race valve for the rail so he can have a better running truck....so i'm the bad guy i guess.

Your still welcome to bring your truck back bud, sorry you need to rant on a forum to make you feel better. i've said my peace.

The internet says they are pretty good!!! :handed:

I had told you to come get it i spent alot of money i figured its only right. When my dealership has a comeback we have to eat it. U obviously dont have any respect for your customers vehicles after everything i found wrong which is amateur stuff. Not to mention the hilarious video you posted on fb of your "tow tune" i really appreciate that let me tell you. I took a very high recommendation to have you work on my truck and this is the quality of work you produce.
As far as im concerned i dont wanna bring it back to you to get the run around again i gave you plenty of time to work on it. You agreed with me a week was sufficient and you texted me the night before tellin me u dont have the dsp5 which we spoke about as well as i told you they were only nozzles i have the texts to prove it. If things were the other way around you would be as pissed as i am.

Sound like you two need to talk face to face and work something out, not whine and bicker over the internet.

Quit whining and let him finish the job. Or quit whining and don't let him finish the job. Rarely if ever does custom auto work get finished on time.

He's trying to do what's right. Do you want him to bend over and kiss your ass?
