Ok here is the other side of the story....
he brought the truck while i was at the beach, which was fine and i knew i had 2 weeks to get this truck done, my mechanics where still workin while i was on vacation. He told me he was bringing a fass and gauges and injectors. (dont like fass but its not my $) thought it was a normal fass 150 because duramax's dont need but 8-10 psi fuel pressure. well turns out he bought a fass 220GPH which most drag trucks dont even use. but he brought so it was installed. (yes not using ring terminals was a minor messup but i agreed to fix) fass was wired the way we were told. he also brought glowshift gauges (worst gauges on the market) parts were missing so i talked him out of installing those and putting Good gauges later on. Thought be brought injectors but it turned out to be nozzles. so we had to pull his used injectors out and put nozzles on. no o rings were provided but they all looked fine. truck ran fine. i got the tunes back from my guy (granted i told him it make take 3 or 4 tries to get the tunes perfect with a STOCK TRANS) 3rd set of tunes weren't bad but it was getting close to our deadline. tried to download the 4 set of tunes but the truck never would take them...not sure why, we tried several times. told him you can get your truck but its NOT FINISHED!!! he said thats fine i will bring back after i get back from my trip. he drives down 2 hrs to pick truck up. i had the truck running, i had tested several times up and down the road and everything was fine. he pulls up, i crank the truck and it starts dumping fuel out the back injector, i tell him i'm sorry we will fix and i will bring the truck TO YOU TOMORROW, pulled injector out and found out the check ball on the side was missing...these were the old injectors in the truck, ball just doesnt fall out, talked to a # of guys. i just happened to have 2 injectors there, we pulled the nozzle off, installed injector, i ran a test with the efi live, it ran perfect, problem solved. i load up and take to him the next day, 2 hrs away out of my time even thow the injector was not our fault i felt bad and didnt want a unhappy customer. he drives the truck, pays me and is on his way.
Gets back from his trip cussing me up and down saying it runs terrible, 9mpg, leaking fuel blah blah and i say ok bud i'm sorry but the truck was not done tuning and we will fix everything just bring the truck back....and here we are...he want bring it back because he doesnt have time or thinks i should...Really?
also while he was gone i did some research on how to make his cp3 live and make the fass 220 work so it doesnt mess anything up, bought a $260 LBZ fuel regulator and $40 race valve for the rail so he can have a better running truck....so i'm the bad guy i guess.
Your still welcome to bring your truck back bud, sorry you need to rant on a forum to make you feel better. i've said my peace.
