Got screwed by a diesel shop

hole-leeeee shit atchley how have I never seen you on here before

(Was hoping at least one other person would catch my humor haha)

I'm an accountant...I hate doing my own taxes. I have had someone else handle them before. I know plenty of other accountants that do the same. Between not wanting to work on our own stuff, and being too busy to work on our own stuff, does that make us worse accountants???

I'm a neuroscientist.
But when it comes to getting my mental problems diagnosed and getting neurosergery, I let somebody else do it to me instead of doing it myself.
Because I'm just too lazy.

I think it does...you should be able read the manual and do a few quick google searches and be right as rain. If you can't even do that, you must be some sorta X-Ray tech or something.

This thread is dumb. Take the truck back to get it fixed the right way, or don't and fix it yourself. Both of you stop bitching, you're both idiots.

rush and duramax should never be used in the same paragraph. Im with Hurley on this , some comp d shit.
I feel for both sides. Sounds like the customer didn't have a clue what he was asking for, doing, or about the parts he was buying. Sounds like he looked up the "biggest" of everything. Sounds like the shop didn't communicate well and let the customer boss them around.

This thread is like listening to children squabble.

He took my toy & broke it, I'm going to tell! Wa wa wa...

only thing i could add that hasnt been said already, the OP didnt have a problem driving 2 hours to have his truck fixed IF he wanted to give the mechanic the oppurtunity to fix it right he shouldnt have a problem taking it back, since he is the one that wanted to take it to that shop to begin with.
I will agree an optima is not enough battery to start a diesel. and I also agree that the wire shoved under the battery terminal is elementary school hack.
but otherwise man up! either take it back to the shop or shut up and fix it yourself

I would hope the wire was a test that was forgotten to be finished. Unprofessional but things get overlooked sometimes. Send a terminal connection in the mail and be done.

Yeah, take it to Comp D and call him out. :D

I bet the sled dont show up just like farmington
The Sled did show up, but when it arrived it wouldn't work. LDP doesn't own the sled so therefor couldn't know its condition, but even though LDP doesn't own it Lee still helped work on the sled to help figure out the problem but in the end parts needed where not available. So that's why at the next pull a discount was given to all that had their ticket from farmington, the discount was given by LDP who wasn't at fault for the problem but tried to make it right about the only way you could.
If anyone has a problem with that then theres no pleasing you, unless we had a stripper pole mounted to the box of the sled with strippers on it and in the stands handing out liquor, and free blowjobs.:flipoff2:

positive thinking is a choice...
