Got screwed by a diesel shop

Not complaining true statement.... Just sayin
Actually your statement was false. But I like how after Lee posted his side of the story most people have sided with him and told you to man up and quit cryin and bitchin, but guess what you still cryin and bitchin and feeling sorry for yourself. I'm done with this thread it's old watching a baby whine.

The Sled did show up, but when it arrived it wouldn't work. LDP doesn't own the sled so therefor couldn't know its condition, but even though LDP doesn't own it Lee still helped work on the sled to help figure out the problem but in the end parts needed where not available. So that's why at the next pull a discount was given to all that had their ticket from farmington, the discount was given by LDP who wasn't at fault for the problem but tried to make it right about the only way you could.
If anyone has a problem with that then theres no pleasing you, unless we had a stripper pole mounted to the box of the sled with strippers on it and in the stands handing out liquor, and free blowjobs.:flipoff2:

i would pay extra for that!!!!!! like a special box section or somthing!!!!!!!!

Honestly at this point i don't care im not bringing it back to him. Bottom line. I already fixed it myself and I'm currently working on the tunes with a tuner.

Why is everyone bashing dirtymax..... I think the whole point of the post was to warn everyone about the quality of work that comes from the shop..... Just like if someone gets work done to their rig that they liked/ or exceeded expectations they post up and say so and so Did a good job on (insert work done).

All I see is a guy that got screwed over and Is trying to save ppl from losin $ and getting jiffy lube quality work on their diesels.... So you guys should actually be thanking him.

Glad you got it resolved. Hopefully it was not too difficult.

Beh, at this point 99.9% of the rest of us don't really care.

Quite some time back, I was teasing somebody. There was some dumbassery goings on. Pretty sure it was deleted.

OK now we're getting somewhere.

dirtymax66 i had a similar situation happen to me with a local shop so i can definatly see where you would be mad. I took my truck for a II turbo, studs, firerings, and some other parts, gave the shop a month to do the work and that time frame was agreed on and paid up front, had a beach trip to make and wanted the truck. missed my vacation and got the truck back a month and a half later, only to pay more money for no extra work, and the damn turbo blew two days after getting it back (truck was on injectors only, no box and so vp44), and had to wait another 2 weeks to fix the turbo. Granted the turbo was not the shops doing, it just added to the frustration.

Im not picking sides by no means im just saying ive been there and know how it feels. When you take it to a shop you expect a certain amount of professionalism. Your spending several thousand dollars on a $30,000 truck so it can get emotional. Really it doesnt matter what it is, these days if you take something to a so called "professional" or shop you expect stuff to be done as said and when its said to be done, not a person on this site could say they wouldnt. By the way the so called professional comment was not directed toward lee at all just a general statement.

Good to see you got the truck fixed, and next time really check the place out before you decide to use them

That's not a half bad idea anyway.
