I dont do anything major. We do a big get together for field day, but its more eating than contesting lol.
 
I know you do a lot of POTA ..... I did years ago before it had a name.
None of the places I want to activate or on the list now.

What places are you wanting to activate? All state and national parks/forests are on the list, and a lot of the trail-parks cross through local community parks. Happy to help any way I can.

If you want to see the most rink dink little ham fest and get your license, come on down to clingman. We are having a hamfest first weekend in march, Ill be helping with the test.

The ham fest is nothing special, but its where I got my license and where I gave my first tests. I almost always find something to waste money on.

Yea it's at the community center, beside the fd.
 
For anyone interested, a bunch of us are meeting up at stone mountain park for lunch saturday. Dogwood shelter. If you want to come PM me and ill get you all the info.

Had a great time doing field day at Thanks To Calvery church in elkin. We ran 2B NC. I worked mostly 15M FT8, but threw in some SSB as well.

Our club ran 3A NC out of Jim Smith's barn. Ran 2 rigs on the group 4D batteries we got courtesy of @Lurch830. Ran a digital station, a CW station and a voice SSB station.

Also did a smoked brisket and pulled pork supper for the club.
