Hot rods, street rods, muscle cars and old trucks

Finally done with the car! Drove it about 20 miles or so today and it is running great and fast as hell. Still have a few little punch list items like the VSS plug and need to splice a few wires to get the ABS/TCS/Brake light off. It is done after 7 years though!

Dad's '64....

Got Dad's green goblin truck running. Exhaust is next and a little finishing touches and he'll be driving it as is for now. We restored most of the interior, including the dash cluster. The choke cable got replaced by a check engine light. 88 blazer gas tank with 97 c1500 5.7 high pressure pump. 92 camaro tpi harness redone. Computer will be behind seat so the computer wiring goes in through floor. Ford edge fans fit a 67c10 radiator like they were made for it.

We're going to hide the filler neck inside the red toolbox. My grandpa dropped out of high school at 16 and went to work at Yarborough motors in Fayetteville with that exact box. Later when he was working at powers swain chevy he had upgraded boxes and he gave that box and some basic tools to my dad as a kid. Dad has had that box ever since, he wants to use it on this truck. We're going to have Capps garage painted on the doors so it looks like an old service truck. My grandpa and great uncle did side work at night in a two bay garage behind my grandparents house under that name, we still have some old invoices and business cards.

Here's a video of the Green Goblin after we set the timing yesterday. We let it run til the cooling fans cycled on then back off. This week I'll weld some exhaust up then Im going to take a week off from this one to work on my Fairlane a bit. Once we get the exhaust and some non dryrotted tires I can do some datalogging and tuning then Dad's driving.

Edited to add: We put an lt4 hot cam in the ramjet 350, which is why I had to switch to a TPI harness so I can tune it. I can tune a tpi computer using the same setup I use to tune TBI on my crawler. The ramjet would have required a $800 specialty tuning software and theres no information about it online. The TPI computers have been picked apart so deep on line there are no secrets.

My project. That's me beside it in 1983. Has a mild 355 with 041 heads and a 4 speed. I've installed disks up front and have a complete airride kit for it. Planning on 18s and 20s and putting in epoxy primer and enjoying going to cruise ins with my dad and his black ss.

Been driving the wheels off of this one. I put 7500 miles on it this summer. After the vintage air and tko swap should be more cruising.

A buddy bought a low mileage black one last year...nice ride!!

This is the second one I've had. This one has 96k miles and is in pretty good shape, just needs a little cosmetic help. I LOVE these cars though.

Been busy on my dad's c10 called green goblin. We got him a disc brake conversion and 2.5/4" lowering kit for Christmas.

I've wanted a Pantera since I was a freshman and Paul Ciener drove his around our HS track back in 1986
Its a 50k mile driver. Imported European GTS. Kinda odd but had a Marti Report ran on it and it came up with nothing since it was purchased in Switzerland theres no info out there about it. Very cool car so much fun to drive with the rear engine and the high revving 351 Cleveland. Hard to drive since im 6'4 300lbs. Had a guy walk up as i pulled up at a car show in it and he said "cool car i just wanna watch you get out of it"

Son you aint seen 300lbs in years, who you lieing to?
