Hot rods, street rods, muscle cars and old trucks

Picked up a 64 nova wagon today. It is pretty much bare bones but has been back halfed, setup for ladder bars, and mini tubbed. Has a really solid body for the most part but has a long way to go.

Hehehehehehehehe.....*clears throat*

Sorry, it might be jumping the gun a little, but I'll put mine up. Just got it two days ago. No engine or transmission currently. Plan is a 460 and c6. Get it reliable, cruise with my wife and kids, and paint it at some point.

1970 Ford Galaxie 500 4dr

Original 351 C6 car

Blue interior almost flawless

Hope for navy/marine blue body with a medium silver roof

Picked this up yesterday. Super straight and clean. 1982 Dodge 150 prospector. Ac, SWB 2wd
1 owner. 318 v8.
Seems to be basically all original minus a aux trans cooler, trailer brake controller and a vintage camper mount In the bed.
Has original paper work from the dealer along with a long service/inspection records.

Still has original dealer tag in front.

Been sitting since 03. Going to start the process of waking her up this weekend.

Got my 445 stroker fired up in the Fairlane last night. It was 11:30 so I only let it run til I saw the oil pressure gauge stop moving up. The first start is the video where you actually hear the starter. I pumped the gas twice under the hood before the video starts then climbed in and hit the key. Tonight I set the timing and idle speed and let it run til the thermostat opened with some revving along the way. Now I have to put some exhaust on it and lay low til the neighborhood puts the pitchforks and torches away [emoji23]

Tried twice to get it in, failed twice. Once it hit the heater box, then it hit the "truck" oil pan. Then this happened pulling it back out...

So now I need a new heater box, which don't exist anywhere. Is anyone good with tin that could build me a new one?

Man you got some Nice automobiles! Think I forgot a couple years back [reading old post], I once picked up a running - driving 69 LTD, with a 429. Bought it just for the motor & tranny. After winning a demolition race at Metrolina Speedway, I pulled the motor & other parts. 429 got a mild rebuild with a Cobra Jet cam, & Holley 750. swapped it into a 60 Thunderbird I had! It hit the 140 mark on the speedometer, which may have been a little off. Anyway, it was Fast enough!

My newest project. I had amassed too many Pontiacs so I decided to let my kids pick one of them and we'd sell the rest. They picked this one, which was good because it was in the nicest shape. 1960 Catalina 2-dr hardtop. 389 4bbl automatic car.

We've so far gotten it running pretty well, some repaired wiring and new carb along with some other stuff. Hopefully going to take it out for a little cruise here soon.

This is "Uncle Ralph". This pic was taken in October right before the Southeast Willys Get Together. It was his first event. He has the Super Hurricane L6. I have the fenders but they need work before I put them back on. I've had to rebuild the frame due to rust and make other repairs. Plans are to keep sanding the terrible green off of it and get to the original DOT yellow as much as possible. I'll clear it as I go. Not going to restore, just repair and go sit at a show every once in a while and drive around some.

My dad drove all the way to Missouri to pick this bad boy up about a month ago, it’s a 55, 4 door that he is going to make into a two door. He’s going the gasser route with it

Update on my Catalina. We got it running great and took it for a trip around the block. It barfed transmission fluid out of the pump seal the whole time. Finally got it in the shop over the weekend. Out with the 389 4bbl/auto and in with the 462/ST-10 4spd!

Love the Catalina. I picked up a 60 Ventura 389 tri-power that will be undergoing resurrection this summer. Will start posting some pics on here soon. Need to meet up once they are done.

Beautiful 62! With all the leaves down, I've recently discovered 2, 55-56 Fords, sitting. Haven't approached either, but probably too far fro you if parts are needed. I just hate seeing classics, rusting away in the woods!

For the right price, i’ve travelled 18hrs round trip for parts. I’m in need of some parts for my Vic.

Also picked up this 47 Dodge Deluxe in Nov. 1 famy owned, 75k documented miles.

Thanks to the help of @Jody Treadway I grabbed this one about a year and a half ago-

67 Rambler American - "The Golden Girl"

It's going to be a 'hot rod' with complete powertrain and suspension swap. Engine is a 2JZ-GTE with a T56 Magnum transmission; suspension is Control Freak brand front coilover suspension kit and rear 4-link (rear will be a 9"). The goal is to have a drive-able toy with ~600hp, heat and A/C. Sadly I've not touched it since late last summer, but that's just the way it is.

Got a build thread here:

and a facebook page for fun too:

@Blaze, what you know about a 63 Pontiac Grand Prix? Guy might be interested in trading for a truck I have.

Doubt it’s something I want to keep but if the markets good for one, I’m game. Not 100% finished but most of the big work has been done I think. I don’t have full details on engine/trans etc. yet, so I’m not a ton of help.

Only pics I’ve got so far...
