How do I get my roommate to stop having loud sex?

Well like the title says my room mate keeps having sex with his gf to the point where you can hear it over then tv. Go in my room and can still hear the ass slapping and occasional moans and grunts. Tried to be nice and mention something and no changes..... Tried embarrassing them in front of friends and they are to stupid to understand..... Tried yelling "SHUT THE F*%# UP" but I'm starting to think that encourages them lol. Any suggestions?!

@McCracken You beat me to it! (No pun intended :D ) Either walk in nekkid and swinging the meat and attempt to join, hide in the room somewhere and scare the hell out of them, compete if you have a gf, or tell her/him that she can't come over unless she brings a friend for you.

An airhorn might work too, the ones in the can, they'll get your point after that. There are soooo many possibilities. You could also let him read this thread :eek:


Ooooh! A live feed of his room on the living room tv! Then when they're done and we walks in the living room and asks what you're watching, he'll slowly realize it's his room. Then just say, "Well, I just wanted to see what all the noise was about!"

Anyway, my method works. Back in 2004 we went to the beach for Spring Break. I stayed out later than the other guys. I stumbled back to the hotel to find two of my friends shacked up with some floozies. They were listening to music and making out. I was inebriated and wanted to keep partying. They wanted me to leave. I did not. Anyway, they start sucking face and getting it on (on the bed where I would be sleeping). I got hot. I changed the tunes to something and dropped my drawers where I said, "if that's how it's going to be, let's get this party started." The ladies promptly left and I got 4 birds for my effort.
 
Really just depends how willing you are to have a war.

Theres always the go after the girl method, plant evidence that hes a cheater... piss her off, they fight, the rest is history.
 
how about you just tell him. if subtle remarks don't work, just come right out and tell him. "hey, why don't you and your fucken whorebag girlfriend keep it down, i'm not getting laid right now so the noise is really pissin me off".
or you can make it a competition (teach your hand to scream and moan)

how about firing up the playstation and start yelling at the TV like a dirty whore while they're humping. the nastier you can make it the better.

another thought: while they're in the middle of baby making, run in and crop dust around the bed. if that doesn't break the mood I'm not sure what will.
 
There is so much awesomeness in the thread. Sitting here eating cereal and bout blew milk out my nose reading this!

You don't have to cause issues like saying she's cheating and split them up or anything. They may actually like each other. But she doesn't have to like you, if you make her feel super uncomfortable she will soon cut him off from getting it in at his place.

Lots of good ideas here to make her feel that way, choose your method.

And DO keep us updated!
 
tape the door latch so it doesn't latch/lock, then walk in and say "we're all adults here...." as you explain your issue with the situation

This is just part of having roomates. You can't expect them to be completely quiet while having sex in his bedroom. You have to find a way to deal with it.
 
Next time the girlfriend shows up, casually tell your roomate (while she's listening) "we really need to to do something about the Bedbugs, they're getting out of control"
