Illegal wheeling at URE ?

Ok let me say this... IF anyone was to try to wheel between now and opening day they would be no chance of getting away with it. There are multiple contrators and fs personel on the trails prepping them for opening day. Lets give this guy a chance, like he stated his rig stands out with a unique tag etc etc, not just a blue cherokee, so doing something as out there as wheeling 2 seeks before the the trails opens would be like robbing the bank you bank out and using the deposit slip the just handed you to write the hold up note on and handing it right back before leaving the counter!

Jrmudder84 feel free to come to a workday or hand out a tread lightly prensention to anyone that will listen my friend. As a landowner nearby you can understand how out on context state could be taken wrong and create a panic for the area because you know what the fight is for there...... Shawn has spoken and basically said no harm no foul so unless there is proof he is breaking a law, INNOCENT until proven guilty.........
 
So I'm not trying to be holier than thou but a lot of fucked up things happening here. Guy made a post on FB insinuating he was going to URE. A member here alerted the community to the insinuating comment and everyone loses their shit, tell the cops, tell their mom, tell God and so forth. Dude joins the page to defend himself, and people rip on him because he did. Then someone insults dudes grammar. Then someone insults his choice of wheeling rig. I understand the need and want to protect URE but damn people, stop being such douchebags. This is exactly the reason why the wheeling community has a problem keeping our hobby and our wheeling places going strong. Stop bickering like 12 year old school children on the interweb.

Just a few thing no that's not me in the crate. That's my friend. And that picture is way out dated. Don't even have those rims. And that "crate" is a jerry can holder

I'm definitely no angel and I can definitely poke fun at someone because after all this is the internet. I have thick skin and you obviously have thick skin but everyone kind of shit all over this dude. While he did bring it on himself with his insinuating post we as a community and NC4x4 members have to be better than that. The whole thing kind of reminds me of the chicken little story. Now I'll get off my soapbox, I can't brain anymore today I has the dumb.

No I should have worded that comment to my friend better. He knew what I ment. But then it blew way out context. No insinuating post just stating the what the truth was. And not was assuming was getting at.
 
Since I started the thread I will say I thank @jrmudder84 for coming on here to clear up a few things.. I am very happy to know he has his own land near URE that he was planning to go wheel on and NOT the national forest. I will give him the benefit of doubt that he is telling the truth until it is proven wrong.

I have explained to him why I questioned it and why I brought it up.

Like Snappy has said hopefully we can all meet up on the trails wheeling or on a workday and have a good time.

so again thanks for being a man and stepping up to clear things up.

I'm down now that I'm a member on this site I will keep an eye out and message me if you go down I just picked up my "pink" pass they look good. And I got a low number "score" but thanks again I'll see yall soon on the trail!!!!
 
I'm late to the convo. im the other person in that FB post. that all this is about. I just want to say that there will be absolutely no illegal wheeling at URE from me nor jrmudder84 it was a miss communication. I did know he had land out there. again sorry for being late to convo I was to busy to breathe at work today almost. so I just wanted to pop in and say this. I hope to see yall out on the trails this season and as many work days as I can attend.
