Lawn Care Cab and Chassis build

Well I screwed up today. Was shaking gallon of paint and handle broke and spilled 3/4 of a gallon on shop floor. Sand and kitty litter helped. But what a mess

As someone who worked in a paint factory for 17 years, I can tell you the secret for any future accidents.

Scoop up as much paint as possible then grab a couple rags and wipe up any pooled paint. Then throw a little solvent on the spill and wipe up with a clean side of the rag with every wipe.

I could clean up 5 gallons of spilled paint in less than 5 minutes and leave no trace of the alleged accident. The odd skills you learn in life that you never realize are skills until you watched a new guy make a mess and spend forever trying to do the same task.
I was painting the CARPETED bathroom at the rental house I lived at in college. Yes, I know but girlfriend at the time liked to paint things. I moved the nearly full gallon of paint off the vanity onto the floor so we wouldn’t knock it off, then proceeded to knock it over in the floor and empty the vast majority of the paint onto the carpet. Got it up good enough that the landlord never knew, but that area of the carpet was always a little stiffer than the rest haha.
