Or... it's possible that the amount being thrown around is just a gross over exaggeration after somebody throw out a WAG and it became a classic game of telephone.
I'm not saying anybody has a reason to lie about it, just that these things tend to get out of hand when people get excited. Guy 1 estimates a range and goes high for safety. Guy 2 takes Guy1s high number and repeats that. Guy 3 adds on another 25% "safety margin". etc etc.
The range in the media is all over the map.

right so why would they hoard it, they control the process ;-). In today's economy I don't see why they wouldn't be pushing it out as fast as it can be made. E.g. why huge stockpiles.
I'm sure there are reasons. The 500 ton thing just leaves so many questions.

Well I’m not a smart man or in the fertilizer business but I venture to say they are ramping up for spring orders.

I mean Corn for example lets just say they put out 150lbs of 34-0-0 fertilizer per acre. 150lbs x .34 = 51lbs of nitrogen per acre. There is a shit ton of corn grown not including all the other crops.

I didn't look up how big the facility is, but..

500 tons is really not "that" much. That's only 20ish tractor trailer loads or 6 train car loads.

After reading what she said, then reading what she said on Colbert and her other "apology", I have come to the conclusion that what is wrong with her is a simple lack of studying History. History should be studied in its entirety. Not just from the point of view of one race, color, creed, sexual orientation, etc. There should never be a point in time where there is no such thing as a history book. A book, once written and distributed - cannot be changed to reflect the current societal norms. History should be completely objective, since it is a series of facts and events, not just opinions and beliefs that can sway like the wind. Without history books, writers are free to revise Wikipedia references to suit the day. This is a revisionist view of history because something that happened is inconvenient, or potentially uncomfortable to read about by one group or another.

Everyone uses Adolf Hitler as the yardstick to measure for fascism, and rightly so. He was an evil man with evil intents who sanctioned the murder of millions of people. Jews, Poles, gypsies, blacks, people with disabilities, homosexuals - basically anyone who they did not perceive as being "racially pure" was subject to elimination. But people like that do not come to power in a vacuum. A whole lot of people had to be swayed to believe how he did and made to act without questioning. THAT is the basis of fascism, not the evil in contained in one person. Typically, that one person uses a large scale event or common problem and plays on the fears and insecurities around it to come to power, aligning him (or her) self as a hero of the people, there to help get them out of the situation that the large scale event has put them all in. All they ask in return is to not question them, and if you do, then you are part of the problem and need to be eliminated as well. This kind of thinking has been very prevalent in the US for several decades and is very evident in today's political climate - and neither side has a monopoly on this manner of thinking.
 
The problem is that that enough people are dumb enough to listen and even worse believe what that overweight ignorant mass of flesh thinks. Whoopi and the others having a stage is the issue.
But yes, it's amazing in a bad way how one can be so ignorant and at the same time have no problems or shame showing their stupidity and ignorance straight faced on TV.

In terms of Whoopi Goldberg I’ve never figured out how she’s in the position she’s in and the money she makes. I remember back in the early 90’s Howard Stern had what I remember being pay per view New Years special with a skit about Whoopi and Ted Danson. All I remember was Danson saying “Whoopi you a filthy nigga”. I laugh to this day when I think about that.

I bribed all of my chemistry professors with video of them doing shady shit in order for me to pass their class/labs, so help me out.

If confined goes kaboom, does adjacent open surplus also decide to react to it's husband telling it to calm down? Or does it just continue a slow burn eating popcorn watching rail car Becky lose her shit?

While I agree with this, "to the victor goes the spoils" also includes how the history books are written. History was what it was, but all too often is recorded one sided, biased, or flat out incorrectly. Revising history because it hurts some feelers is wrong, but also understanding that it could well have been recorded with "opinion and beliefs" in the first place is important, therefore revising history because new information is discovered is also important.

I’m not Jewish or German but my understanding is that they are 2 separate races.

I honestly don’t care one way or the other, I just enjoy the woke culture eating their own.

Part of a game where the most woke wins is that everybody playing will eventually be vilified.

I see your point. One of my History professors put it that history is written by the winners. Obviously a history book distributed in the United States will have a much different opinion on what caused the Revolutionary War than would one written in Great Britain. However, there are some universal truths that will span across societies as a whole. The fact that each of the wars happened is immutable, but why each war happened and the individual outcomes of each war are subjective. Depending on who you ask, the Civil War was either a war to abolish slavery, or it was a war to establish whether individual states had rights to establish how many people represented their state in Congress based on populations of free or enslaved people, and even others contend that it had nothing to do with slavery at all.

I think it's important to understand things in their context, but not judge past events only through the lens of the current day understanding. Whoopi is focused only on race as something visible and obvious (black vs. white). In her eyes, it apparently isn't a racial issue because both Jews and Germans are predominantly white, but in actuality they are not mutually exclusive. You can be both Jewish and German without either being obvious to a casual onlooker. This is why the Nazis insisted on Jews wearing a Star of David on an armband. They wanted it to be obvious. Sort of like......... a vaccine passport. Now - I am not drawing that parallel, but there are a LOT of people out there that are.

The government has done a LOT of things in the past that are very questionable now. The Trail of Tears, sending people of Asian descent to internment camps during WWII, the Joeseph Mccarthy trials in the 50's and 60's, Eugenics - just to name a few. Every one of them is detestable by today's standards.

From the standpoint that race does not have an inherent physical or biological meaning, no. Except that's not what she meant because, like I already stated, she's ignorant.
