Max was one of the best officers I served with in my 20yr career. Early morning? Dunkin’ sammich and coffee. Late night? He found a way to get some takeout delivered. Selfless to his core. Always a smile or a joke to lighten the mood. His sarcasm to the seniors would put them on their heels and let us enlisted members know he was on our side. A man of men. I’ve been keeping tabs and as I get the green light I’m headed to see him. (I don’t want to clutter an already hectic hospital schedule).

Police, tow companies noticing spike in thieves using tech to steal cars

WRAL News analyzed crime data from Raleigh, Durham and Rocky Mount. The data showed two cities have increased numbers of stolen vehicles from 2023 to 2024. An increase in available technology is boosting the trend.

Not what I was referencing, or maybe trying to reference. That’s all the “what” happened. And I hope she ends up in jail for a very long time.

I’m talking about the why and the how behind the why.

I can only imagine that she/they made a bunch of money off this somehow. Expose that part.
