Lots of interesting news today

So we've already wasted time and money changing the name once - only logical thing to do is waste more time and money changing it again.
Good thing the new government is focused on efficiency!
Didn’t mean my first post to possibly sound assholish (despite me be a solid 9.8/10 on that). Bragg isn’t just a name to a multigenerational group of men and women. It’s an entire lifestyle. It’s NOT associated with the made up “racist civil war general” leftists crap (yes, I recognize he was a real person). Men and women have chosen to flock to Ft. Bragg for decades because of what it was, and what it stood for, in manning, training, standards of discipline, lifestyle, and most importantly bragging rights (pun intended). To be a 10/10 at Bragg 99.9% of the time meant you could dominate at any other duty station across the armed forces. This applies to more than just the army as there are multi service operations being conducted there daily. Even multi-national partnerships are based out of Bragg with some of our best allies. Why? Because the 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. BRAGG DOES IT ETTER THAN ANYWHERE in the realm of conventional force on force training. I will not speak to the SOF community which Bragg also shares home with. Others here can speak on that note (hint hint @Wes). But on my behalf it’s just a different skill set that, yes, was affected by people coming in and fucking with our koolaid. I won’t even get into the actual politics of the last 4 years turning the entire military into a huge social experiment and be damned the actual functional readiness of the greatest fighting force on the planet to not upset someone’s feelings. It ain’t the Boy Scouts. Vachina feelings get hurt? GFYS.

Did you actually read the article? It makes no sense. The numbers are incongruent.
How so?
There's more info in the original article here

He didn't wear them every day for 15 months like you'd assume from the title, just waited that long before the first wash.

Fair enough. But by that metric, I’ve worn my dry clean only suit pants for like 8 years without washing.

yeah but did you wear it 330 times in that period?
I mean dude still wore them 4 out of 5 days. I'm guessing they were a bit much for church or.... a date.

What this hints at is "they never got nasty" but thats not really true, just that the level of nasty has plateaud already after several wearings.

Its also clear dude doesn't do a lot of hands on hard work or those things would be a lot dirtier.

My wife is a microbiologist, well she was until she started staying home. Anywho, when she was a microbiologist, she worked in a lab that tested materials that Microban was added to.
One time they were sent a pair of hockey pants with the complaint that they smelled and they shouldn’t smell because they had Microban in them. She tested them. The company reported back to the hockey player that you still have to wash them!

Not a meme...but news nonetheless

I look at it like this.

It’s putting the torn down statue back up where it was and telling woke fucks to shut the hell up. I’m much more happy spending money on that than gender studies in Nepal.

“I’ll take things you wouldn’t understand for $1,000 Alex”

regardless of the name of the fort, nothing is efficient about flip flopping names of military bases and spending hundreds of millions to do that

the statement about gross gov't inefficiency is true. Dumpf is screaming about cutitng gov't waste while being wasteful, to spite Brandon. We are the fools.

and you can train and be the best at Fort Bragg or Fort Susie.

they used your taxes to change the license plate lettering to red, after a $Texas study

then no one liked it / they didn't do it right

so they spent tens of millions to change them all back to blue

the idiocy and waste knows no bounds
And we all know you’d change it and I’m sure you voted out ALL the wastemongers in the govco……
