Mac's YJ build with tons and 42's.

ok sorry for the lack of updates, the jeep is running and driving. I have been busting ass to get it going and i'm glad I did. My internet has been screwy which explains the lack of recent updates. I will have pictures and updates soon.

The front flexes great, the back needs a little work.

updates coming soon. The ranger springs are from like 88-95 I guess...somewhere in that range.

Yes I am currently running those front shackles.

What happened to the guys trying to steal your stuff/break into your house?

I havent seen them any more since the last time I reported in the other thread. Not to sound to cliche, but I put the word out on the street to all the local teenage "hood rats" in my area that I was looking for the perps and knew what they drove, and have had no more issues. Yet I still have been keeping a close eye on everything, and continue to look for the explorer.

more pictures coming as i get them....

everything did really well, beat on it a little bit and everything held up.

I need to work on getting some more droop in the back, which means turning the pinion up, and getting a double cardan rear shaft, and moving/getting longer rear shocks......cha ching cha ching cha ching

Also... really need a front locker badly, and really want one too, prolly save up for an OX, since ive got the spool in the back, i want to be able to steer

And, desperately need to do the cage and everything with it.

But overall, I'm very happy with all I have done, it all work good, just need to get it working great..

and I need the big tires.....

Hell yeah, looks good.

yeah he popped another rear shaft, not his fault though, well at least not exactly....long story, so we are currently swapping 1tons under it too.

We plannin on comin up to Harlan for the fall crawl oct 24-26

pics and video coming from Callalantee. WE had a good ride, neither me nor my dad in the suburban broke anything.

I have noticed though, that my rear tires do not want to crawl over anything. The front will crawl up anything, but the rear just spin and never claw up anything. Need to get the beadlocks, and try everything, or maybe just 4link the rear, so i can setup for antisquat. Any ideas anyone?

traction bar/arm w/ antisquat geometry built into it so that under power the axle is forced downward?
4link?
lower air pressure?

I tried just "bumping" it up and over everything but it doesnt even really want to go up obstacles that way either. I need to do something though.

resurrected!!! it think you should do quarter ellipticals or just go ahead and 4link it either way ill be wrenchin

Get any pics from Mtn City? I looked for you in Harlan but figured I just missed you all.

Antiwrap bar is a big + on a SOA rear axle.

Some of us will be riding Mtn City on Nov 29th if you all are over this direction.

i'll let you know about the 29th, being that it is right after turkey day....i dont know, have to see what the family is planning for the holidays,

Well it looks like we will be riding chinquipin that weekend instead... It's well worth the drive if you have roll cages on your rigs.

Got my pressed centers in today from the brown truck, came from Dean at Performance Cryo, 66CJDean on pirate, 285 shipped for the 4 of them. I'll get some pics up and maybe a decent write up on the recentering process.

Also, ive been playing with the 4link calc and pretty much dead set on 4-link the back of the jeep, and running airshocks.

I don't have enough weight to make the springs work like i want them to, and I tried to softem them up w/ changing the leaf pack, and then its too soft. Pics coming soon.

what are those? 44"s?

sooooo.....how did you do on the waterfall at welder?
