I think you may need a few classes in the mud bog based on tire size. Do you expect any pro trucks? Is there any way of washing off the trucks? If the mud pit is very tough to get through you will need a good tractor for pulling rigs out. At the last event I do not think there was much consideration for getting trucks out.
I see on the flyer you are using a picture of Porky Sellers from the Lee County Mud Pit. He actually broke his own word record this month. It was crazy fast.
you can have one pit but must run the small tire class first.
it sucks i have to work, was planning on coming down later that day, but it would be like 5pm before we could get there. it sounds like it will be over before we could get there.

Any Idea on the rock crawl comp setup? Cones?, timed event?, point system? I saw the rock setup there for the Uwharrie cross comp,(any changes) Interested in competing just want to get an idea.. thanks pj
This is going to be a blast. Everything is coming along very well. We moved some rocks and pipe around to fill in some gapping holes. Nick made it over the top, so That makes 3 of us to make it over. Owen, Nick, and Brandon. I am sure there are others that can make it, you just have to have the BALLS to try. For the Rock Crawl Comp there will be three different classes. 35" tires and below, 40"-36", and 42" and up. Don't be afraid of the rocks. There is a line for everyone. 25 dollar entry for each vehicle, and 60% of purse goes to winners of each class. So the more people enter the more prize money there will be. More info to come.........
The following is a link for the rules they use at Lee County Mud Pit. They may be good for a basic guide line for the N.O. Limit Race. I would suggest two classes.
Small tire class
up to 38" tires
Big tire class
39" and above

I wanted to give you all a heads up that are planning on coming to our event. You may want to bring some chairs to sit in or a blanket for the ground. We do not have our bleachers yet, but are getting some for future events, we are also going to put in some lights so we won't be limited to only daylight hours.
On the rock crawl.....helment rule and spotter rule. Just wondewring
I think Johnnie's gonna let a few trucks in the pit on Sat to test it out and mix the mud up a little! Maybe some of ya'll can come & help him out.
Come on down Rick, we'd really like to see that thing run, especially since you didn't get to the first time. I'm gonna try to talk Johnnie into having the pull back tractor ready so whoever comes can hit it, get pulled back, and hit it again. We need to try out the winch too, as we haven't tried it out real good yet. Were really hoping to have everything ready for the race on the 26th.
Did owen and Nick get back yet?
