First one is a local giant mountain deer, very rarely do these kinda deer get seen or shot up here

2nd deer I am still chasing, passed a bunch of deer this season waiting on a good one, the rut is just happening and gun season closed, stick and string time again

3rd deer my brother killed in Raleigh 2 days before thanksgiving, this deer has mass throughout

I saw one at RK where instead of side by side, each seat was pointed maybe 30* away from each other. I need to get a few more stands and considering my grandson for future hunts.
I seen a tripod one at academy that both seats faced opposite directions, You were still side by side but you were kind of looking at each other and the whole bench swivels. I thought that was a pretty cool design. Would be a really nice cutover or open field stand.

I should probably buy a lottery ticket today. Dropped a 10 and an 8 point this morning. Shot the 8. Walking to retrieve it and the 10 steps out to see what’s happening. Dropped him too. They were on 2 doe. Second rut is on. Also, a TJ is not a practical hunting vehicle.

That's awesome man! Looks like you got extra lucky on the 8'! 1/2" higher any you wouldn't have had him!

Your right. He was on the move left to right. I had to get him quick. I’ve been trying to aim a little higher this year. I shoulder punched 3 last year and they all ran a little before dropping. I adjusted a little high on the shoulder this year and they’ve been dropping where I hit em.

Hell I've put deer in the trunk of an Accord...just keep a cheap tarp on hand!

Congrats on the double up!
