New Member Check In - Post HERE <------------------

Hi, I'm Billy

I just got a '84 Toyota pickup a couple weeks ago and have been spending all my time on YotaTech, then googled nc off road and found this forum. I haven't seen anyone really close to me yet, closest was Morganton; anybody out there in the Casar/Vale area? Anyway, I'm really liking this yota, I had a '03 Ranger FX4 a couple years ago, and it was good in mud and rough roads but I was always worried about scratches, dents, etc. Now I'm not afraid of a little nick here, new door there, etc. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself, I'm going to throw a couple pics in the gallery now if anyone is interested.

Are they tagged and insured? I say road trip. Lets go get them.

Haha, the white one is, but gets 8 mpg. It would cost me $1,600 to drive it, or $900 to ship it. (weird)
The camo one isn't done yet, kinda lacking steering box, gas tank, bed, ect. lol. And I think I'm selling it. I really need the money. (See avatar)

If I lose my white truck I guess it's ok. I only paid $400 for it with a blown tranny, which I rebuilt. So no loss. More or less just grew really attached to it.

Hey Mopar Redneck, glad to see you made it over here! Nice Dodgies, I used to have A "78" Ramcharger, but had to sell it. I don't know if you have access to( EDIT it's in) past events, if you do check the 4leaf 4X4 competition thread, by Wranglin101. It's not far, (down here in Clover, A few miles south). I attended the last one, & had A great time. This one promises to be even better. You'll find this board to be A bit more "local" than the other one! Y2kCrawler, & I have been discussing the formation, of A local 4WD club. seems like Clover, & Lake Wylie S.C. are close to quite A few board members. Now if someone would just step up, & be the club president, we could set about getting the bumper stickers made. LOL

That would be awesome. Lake Wylie is only a 15 min. drive from my place. I'll be the president hahaha. Forget that lol. I'm just a stupid teenager. (Atleast I admit it)
The only issue I have is finding any time and money to buy and wheel right now.
I am in the process of trying to find a family vehicle though. So maybe I'll just get a cherokee or something I can play in for now.
