Pocket Knives

My girlfriend got me this one, seems to be holding an edge pretty well. Always smooth to open and the browning deer is cut in, not paint or etching. I had a crkt small knife i think they called it a money clip knife. It was awesome but got caught up in a christmas tree and disappeared. Always seem to loose 2-3 knifes a year selling christmas trees.

Not really in the knife category, more of the multitool but I carry a Leatherman Skeletool everywhere, its small enough and has everything i need. I own two of them and Ill never carry anything but a Skeletool for a long time.

i carry the kershaw ken onion leek 1660. the best knife i have had to date, it takes and holds an edge well. i have the straight edge version.

i had the m16 for a little bit. i liked it at first and it felt good in my hand. but it didnt hold an edge long, and it fell apart in my pocket on a few occasions. i still have it but it just takes up space in my drawer.

i carry a nice SOG i found at the flats:)
haha na I carry a CRKT Denali its heavy but tough as hell and has a double lock system that I love i get the partially serrated blade with the drop point been carrying them for 15 years or more but have to fleabay them now b/c they have been discontinued

Carried a Buck Rush 290T from 05-12, loved that knife for size/function. Broke the tip off and doubled the utility!

I'm curently carrying a Leatherman Freestyle CX (154CM blade, just blade and pliers) that I got for $15 from Steep and Cheap. Helluva deal.

I carry a SOG Twitch II. Great knife and very well made. I used to carry Spyderco knives but I lost two and then bought this SOG, been carrying the SOG for over 5 years now.

I've got a SOG Flash II and a Kershaw Ken Onion Scallion. I carry which ever one I can find... I really like the design and assisted opening of the Kershaw.

...a very handy all-around tool.

You know, I had one almost exactly like that. It had a small blade instead of the file, though. Real Victorinox. I probably still have it in a drawer somewhere, but I quit carrying it after ~10 years of use. It finally just started falling apart.

I've come to prefer the ones with single-hand operation, though.

Here's my picks in order. I carry the Leek daily. Emissary is my favorite, but I'm too cheap to spend more than $50 on a knife.

Benchmade Emissary
Kershaw Leek
CRKT IgnitorT

Im like Chip. I carry a craftsman lockback razor knife. I got tired of always having to sharpen my knife, so now when it gets dull I just flip the blade around or replace it. I carried a 3 blade old timer from 7th grade till I went to Iraq. After that, I got the craftsman knives. I usually wear one out every 6 months or so and go through about 100 blades every year.

I collect Case knives and carry a Peanut with me everyday. It fits nicely in my dress pants and doesn't scare my customers if I take it out to work on something.

Shawn,
Like I told you the only acceptable answer is a Samurai in a side sheath. Anything else is a compromise at best.

Look familiar? this one lives in my back pocker as a utility knife.

I've been carrying a Kershaw Ken Onion Blur with a half serrated Tanto blade for the last several years and it is far and away the best knife I've ever carried. I've carried more expensive knives for sure, but none that were better. I started carrying it years ago when I was doing some tower climbing and needed a good knife that I could operate one handed and I quickly became addicted to the spring assisted opening. The first Kershaw I had was a Chive, and that is a nice knife too, but it was a little small for my needs. The rubber texture in the Blurs handle give it a really good sure grip even when my hands are greasy. I've lost two of them over the years and always went back for the exact same model.
