Prayers need for my Daughter

Well my family went through the stomach flu about 2 weeks ago and my daughter was the first one to get it . well thursday night she started throwing up again she did it again saturday night and sunday morning . So we took her to the doctor and They told us to keep a eye on her and gave us a prescription for acid reflux if she continues to not keep food down for the next few days they said we need to bring her in again , possible cause of this could be pressure on the brain (ie brain tumor ). so please pray that it is just a little reflux and not the worst .

yikes. Kind of sounds like your doc is guessing?...can't they scan for tumor asap?
Wife and I just had a nasty 24 hr stomach virus, thankfully the 3 kids didnt get it at all. Hoping the best for your daughter.
 
Yes they can but she seems normal we are on watch to see if the vomiting will stop with some Antacid and a bland diet in the 3to 4 days .
the nasty stomach virus you are talking about I had it an it felt like my stomach was going to come out my throat
 
That stomach virus put me in the. ER , I'm sure she will be ok, prayers sent for you buddy!

This. I wouldn't leave that up to a hope and a prayer. I'd take her to another Dr if the first couldn't do any better than guessing and prescribing an antacid.
 
I don't believe he is guessing . He said sometimes in smaller children when the stomach flu hits them it causes the lining in the stomach to become in flamed . but he wants to see if the antacid works. If it does not in a short period of time then we will need to cat scan her to see if there is anything .
 
Definitely prayers are sent. I am not so sure about the Docs assessment. Whenever you get a stomach virus it takes at least a month for the stomach lining to heal and while this is happening the immune system is weaker. I know this because I just got back from the stomach doctor about a bacterial ulcer. Also I know from my friend who had a brain tumor there would be other signs. There are more prominent symptoms to a brain tumors. I hope that information will help to give you peace of mind.

told my wife to pray about it for you!! I pray too but I am afraid my prayers don't get very far off the ground, we wish her the best!!
